This has not been tested. This was removed about 30 years ago from a old drive thru window of a bank. Possibly used for the sliding box where you would place your items that you wanted to give to the teller in the drive thru at the bank. I'm not sure what it was used for because it was not wired to anything when I discovered it. The data plate has since fallen off of the motor, but you could easily re instal it with new rivets, if you so desired. This is an extremely rare. No longer made speed reducer. I bought it new in 1989. The speed reduction Model 2413 is variable using the pull out knob on the front of the unit. It will deliver ratios from 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, 8:1, 16:1, 32:1, 64:1, 128:1, 256:1 and 512:1. An incredible speed change range. Both shafts on the back of the unit are 1/4 inch in size. The unit has been carefully stored. It also comes with its original spec sheet from the factory. This unit has a maximum output torque of 100 oz. inches. The shafts turn freely as does the pull out knob but it might need a change of its internal oil which any professional machinist can do. It was purchased for a special effect in a motion picture and used only for a week or two. It originally cost $550.
