For your consideration a early 1920's" The Bodine De Luxe Loop Aerial Antenna" This is fresh from a local estate and appears to be completely original. The frame is made of walnut wood with Four bakelite ends for the wire to be wrapped around. The condition is ok for its age but will need to be rewired as the wire is frayed and loose from the ends. The only damage I see is one small knick on the base. I have pictured that for you. The antenna is measuring 28" high X 13" wide. This is model no. 500 and made in Chicago in the 1920's. The wood antenna is all original and has the original brass tag from the Bodine company. It has a great patina on it. This will be a great addition to your collection.

this is a lot of 5 bodine electric motors. I was able to make the 2 small 1/50 hp and the largest 1/15 hp"I think" work by plugging them in to an extension cord. They spun up smoothly and quietly but I would rewire the 2 small ones before using long term. the 2 others with gear reductions on them would not run for me, they have multiple wires coming out of them and I may not be doing some thing right but these should be considered"FOR PARTS ONLY" please look closely and ask questions if you have them.

Bodine 115V Motor Reduction 288:1. OK you want to add motion to a large item on that train layout. Like a Ferris wheel. Track turn table, or other big item? Oh it needs to have decent torque to do that! Well this Bodine motor might just be it. Yes it is 115V with a cord and is plug and play. The 5000 rpm is reduced by 288:1 so shaft speed is approx 17.36 rpm. Or about 1 revolution every 4 seconds. With that reduction of 288 to 1 that increases torque a lot. ALSO! It is a brush type motor so it could be put on a speed control to set desired speed. The shaft is a generous 1" long by 5/16" that would be easy to hook up to. Yes the cord ain't pretty. And could redone. HEY it runs just fine and I did test it. This type motor is very expensive new(search Bodine motor) and you will agree my price is very reasonable.
