Description: This motor was working intermitently but operational when removed from the installed location. It was used for a high capacity and efficient water pump in an outdoor pond and suffered damage. To the cord(likely a rodent as cord looked gnawed) but was not obvious until removed. Owner asked for the new motor and the attached pump was swapped. The cord was replaced with a new one and it starts up and works fine. The original installer used mastic to glue it down vice anchoring it with lags and the base has marks from where I removed the glue. If you know your motors.
