This is a JR Hollinsworth MEP-002A 5KW/7KW Military Generator. Previous owners are the US Army and US Marine Corps. These generators are built like tanks. Designed to run 24/7, have lots of spare parts/online resources/and documentation. Uses standard Fram oil, fuel, air filters that can be found at auto parts store. The military paid over $8200 for this unit. Civilian generators can't come close to how the MEP gensets run. This is not a toy from Home Depot, it is a 1000lbs piece of military equipment spec'd to DoD and NATO requirements. Phase Tech drivers are built by their parent company. United Speaker Systems. United Speaker had been building original equipment drivers since 1959 for many U.S. makers. Most notably Fisher and McIntosh, and launched the Phase Tech brand some 30 years ago to enter the consumer market with their own speakers. In fact, the founder of United, Mr. Hecht is widely credited as inventing the soft dome tweeter. He's still in charge of the Company today, so this is a company that's true to its roots! Anyways, please have a look at the large photos I’ve taken to decide if these capable tweeters are correct for your needs. These Phase Tech tweeters are in excellent overall condition. They have perfect ... moresoft domes and sharp-looking plastic faceplates with no cracks at the mounting holes or even any scratches/scuffs! Plus. The +/ terminals measure the industry standard.205” are marked for polarity, and have never been soldered on the spades. This pair of drivers is flawless. They’ve been fully tested and sound very strong and clear with excellent upper-end musical detail. They're crossed-over from the mid/bass drivers at 3kHz and carry to a full 20kHz with plenty of beyond-audibility‘sparkle’ Plus. I tested their DC resistance at a perfectly-matched 4.7Ω. Consistent with a 6 ohm nominal driver rating.
