Up for sale is a 1/3 HP General Electric electric motor. This was pulled from a vacuum pump that was used occasionally over the last several years in the lab until the lab was refurbished. The motor is in excellent condition. With only a few cosmetic blemishes. The motor is reasonably quiet, with no whining or bearing noises. This motor was lightly used and would make an excellent replacement for a similar motor in a vacuum pump or an HVAC system. It could also be converted into a make-shift bench grinder if the user so desired. I believe it probably came off of a Jointer. Belt, Disk Sander but could be used on anything. The black cover sticking out the back is another shaft coming out the back side and it is approx. 1-1/2" long and 1/2" dia. it has no keyway but just a flat surface. I did not test this motor. Good motor for just about anything. I don't know much about electrical stuff but it has a regular 110 plug and another set of wires coming out of it which may be for the on& off switch. See Pictures.
