It's nice to be able to have variable speed controlling of AC type motors and anything else that requires variable AC output. The controller is in very good condition and was used for a short time tuning a motor on a conveyor.

I bought this motor at a thrift store with plans of adapting it to a prototype dolly rig I was building for a camera and monitor config. videography) It ended up having way too many RPMs to use even if I geared it down. It's in great working condition and pretty quiet for such a powerful motor. Anyways. I don't know much about motors but I'm sure it should be of use to someone out in Ebayland. It came with an in-line on/off switch and looks like the plug and wiring is pretty heavy duty. You can also have the pulley I bought for the shaft.
