This item shows signs a few minor scratches but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The power cord is in good condition with no cuts or frayed areas. We turned the speed control dial with no problems to the maximum and the item started rotating without any issues. We then slowly turned down the dial and it slowed down as well. Here we have a very nice S/P American Scientific Products Variable Speed Touch Vortex Mixer with a small shaking top for test tubes. This is in excellent. Clean condition with very little staining on the base and a nice shaker top. THE SPEED CONTROLLER IS broken as seen in picture 2 but working fine.
