2010 SC252 Stump Grinder, Dual Wheels, With Vermeer Trailer
Vermeer SC252 Stump Grinder with Vermeer Brand Trailer(TLR25) Trailer has two new tires and rims on it(cheaper to get rims with it than have new tires mounted) I have been the only owner of this machine bought it brand new. This machine is equipped with the Auto Sweep option($700.00 Option) I installed the dual wheel kit for when this machine was operating on softer ground conditions. Each wheel has the ability to lock and unlock(drive or be free spinning) depending on what type of functionality you are looking for. It has electric start and will start no problem in warm or cold temperatures. We have professionally maintained this unit ourselves(Vermeer did the upper and lower bearings though) from day one based on manufacturer specifications. The exception to this is changing the hydraulic oil. They recommend hydraulic oil change out every ... more500 hours which we feel is not necessary. Hydro oil and filter was changed out at 750 hours seeing as though is a sealed system. Both upper and lower drive bearings(the most common wear item other than teeth) were changed out at 850 hours by Vermeer. This unit is equipped with Vermeer Brand Yellow Jacket teeth. This machine has gone through 3 rigid drive belts and the current belt has 125 hours on it. Typically under normal use a belt will provide 300 hours of use we have found. Clutch system is electric with toggle switch. Feel free to ask any questions I will do my best to answer them quickly. You are welcome to pick the machine and trailer here in Hamburg. These are some used glow plugs that I have left from a 2006 Vermeer SC352 that I just sold and upgraded to a larger machine.They were changed out when a mechanic made a wrong diagnosis to a starting problem and it turned out to be a plugged fuel filter that was the problem that keep it from starting when cold or it sat for a while so I am sure these glow plugs are still good.After the new glow plugs were installed it was to late they made me buy the new ones so these should be fine since that did not fix the problem.The three new glow plugs cost me $160.00 so i am starting the bidding at a great price $50.00 For all of the original THREE USED NGK GLOW PLUGS? UP for action is a 2005 602 sc vermeer stump grinder. It has 228 hrs on a 50 hp caterpillar diesel engine. I spent over $3000 at a vermeer dealer getting a new clutch and drive shaft to the cutting wheel replaced about 30hrs ago.I also upgraded the teeth to yellowjacket teeth and pockets.with extra teeth) It runs great with no leaks anywhere. The grinder has a few dents and scatches from use. The grinder was jackknifed and has a dent on the front as you can see in the picture. But doesn't affect the machines operation at all. Vermeer TM800 trail mower. I bought this mower new in 2007. It is a very good mower. The only thing that is wrong with the mower is the plastic shield over the PTO is damaged. I had my lift arms to low and it hit the shaft. It does not affect the operation of the mower. It has a 10.5 foot cut.
