Since I found it I discovered that it sustained damage at the 1000Hz slides(see pics) The bulb on the left 1000Hz slide broke off yet the slide cover will stay on. The right 1000Hz slide cover came off as well but the bulb survived. All of the other slide covers illuminate but there are a few that you can't see illuminated at a slight side angle view. They do if looking dead straight on. I don't know if the power switch WAS at one time illuminated Yellow but it does not light up although still working to power the unit up just fine. Satin Amethyst Millersburg PEACOCK 5 1/2" Berry Bowl--No Reserve
This old. Unmarked carnival glass bowl was made by Mil lersburg. Circa 1908-1912. The pattern is called Peacock, distinguished from Millersburgs Peacock and Urn pattern by the lack of a bee at the tip of the birds bea k. This piece stands 1 3/4" tall. Is round, flared and measures 5 1/2" ac ross. The glass color is amethyst-or light purple. If you prefer. The bowl ha s nice interior iridescence. Showing pinks, blues, golds, greens and yellows on most surfaces. The b ody of the bird is primarily silver and gold. But the tail. Along with the rest of the interior is quite color ful. I find no dam age on this bowl; no cracks. Chips, heat checks or ep oxy/repairs. Like every piece of century old carnival glass; this one exhibits the normal, minor. Factory-made pr oducti on f laws and imperf ections. Specific to this piece would be straw ... moreor tool marks. Bubbles i n the glass and a couple tiny spots of soda ash on the rim. 1923-S Buffalo Nickel PCGS MS-64 PQ No Reserve
A much better date. In MS-65 these sell in the mid $7000 range and coins with full strikes bring almost TRIPLE that. This coin has a strike that is close to strong(but not nearly considered full) and clearly superior to the typical mushy strike typically seen. Here is a vintage Coleman 242B lantern. I don't see a date on the bottom or side of this lantern so not sure of age. The tank of this lantern is in excellent condition with no dents at all and no rust. It is in great shape. The frame of the lantern is also in excellent condition and the glass has the red lettering so I think it may be original but not sure. The top has some spots and a few small chips in it though. The ashtray is in very good original condition with a very few tiny pits, but there are no chips, cracks, splits, dullness or repair. The center features Dino and one side says SINCLAIR and the other side says GO DINO. The ashtray measures approx. ... more2 1/4" tall by 7 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide. The very bottom is cork covered and it is marked Made in U.S.A. along with a series of patent numbers around the edge of the cork.
