Names on front of booklet look like Henry Cope and Lincoln Hutson. I.m not sure of the Hutson name. Booklet has entries that range from 1868 to 1870. Scans 2-5 show an example of a few of entries that were made. Booklet has an overall dirty appearance to it, both outside and on some pages inside. It also has a vertical foldline up the center. Condition is extremely fine with no folds. Defects or damage. Shipping fee includes sending in a cardboard mailer or for smaller items which are sent in an envelope with cardboard stiffeners. In 1972. I received this coin/currency bank as a promotional gift from the RIDGLEA STATE BANK in Fort Worth, Texas. It's great for seeing how much has been saved. It holds $30.50 in coins, plus currency. Of course, the money shown in the first photo is not included in this auction. This bank is footed. It is made of plastic and wood grain textured metal. It has no breaks or repairs. Marked in raised letters on the bottom: BANKERS UTILITIES COMPANY. INC. 915 LINDEN AVENUE SO. SAN FRANCISCO. The first stage and freight teams into Skidoo had come up by way of Ballarat from the Santa Fe railhead at Johannesburg 110 miles away. Rhyolite merchants eager for a share of the trade had raised a subscription to build a 56-mile road to Skidoo over Daylight Pass and across the south end of the Death Valley dunes. James R. Clark started the grading from Bullfrog in the fall of 1906. Freight wagons, stages, autos, and motorcycles were running over the road even before it was finished, and Clark and a couple of partners set up the Stovepipe Road House at the well to serve weary pilgrims. This still bank has its original paint with red walls, yellow doors, green base and black roof. The front of the base is embossed"First National Bank- ARCADIA, FLA. and the back"SAVE FOR A HOME- Bankers Thrift Corp. Chicago" The underside has the original metal trap/coin slot combo, and has a slight bend on one corner. The metal is rusty, but it is inscribed"BANKERS THRIFT CORP. CHICAGO- PATENTED" This bank stands 2.5" tall on a 3.5" by 2" base. It needs a good cleaning to bring out the bright colors, but it's an original Bankers Thrift bank that predates Banthrico. This is a collectible Coca Cola lamp. It is a bankers lamp style featuring a red glass shade with the Coca Cola logo in white on it. The light turns on and off with a pull chain and the metal is made to look like a brushed bronze. It is in excellent working condition. The Coca Cola logo has some light scratches in it. The glass has some tiny flea bite nicks all along the edge and the metal base has some light scuffs on the back near the plug. Nothing major, no dents or dings, and no chips or cracks in the glass.
