This alarm test board panel was actually Manufactured by the O.B. McClintock Co. of Minneapolis and used the name Bankers Electrical Protection as they did also with American Bank Protection. Cannon Ball Alarm, Bankers Protective Services and Protection Equipment Co. This panel comes complete with its original attached cover. The interesting thing about these very early panels is that these were used sometimes as the early forerunners of the larger alarm exterior bell housings. Back in those days this panel might have been the only alarm bell that was needed to scare away any would be burglars. Even though this was located within the vault itself when the vault door was opened after hours the bell would go off scaring away the burglars. I guess in those days any alarm bell ringing was enough to deter would be thieves. This was the only type ... moreof alarm bell that was used in its early years. Can you imagine todays savvy burglars being afraid of such a small bell sounding upon entrance to a vault door? In any case this is a very interesting and attractive piece. It has a very Nice Stained Glass Front. There is some moisture damage to the bottom rear of the box and the wood has warped and is discolored, however, this is the back, it faces the wall and will not be seen. Estimated date of this piece is Late 1920's to early 1930's.

We have sold a ton of these chairs and never had a complaint. We love refinishing these chairs because they come out so beautiful. Look at the great grains that have been used in this chair. Made by"Flexarm" I believe this metal industrial lamp is from the late 1950's or early 1960's at the newest. It is a florescent drafting light, or bankers light. All metal head to toe it features the flexible stem that people prefer to allow easy adjustments. There is a very large amount on Monopoly money- I counted 43 $500 bills.The bankers tray is in very good condition and is about 19 and 1/2 inches long by 7 and 3/4ths inches deep.The deed holder is in excellent condition and spins very well. The title cards are in good condition except New York Avenue has some brown spots on the front. Tennessee Avenue has some brown spots on the back, and Marvin Gardens has a faint yellow stain on a back corner. I counted 57 houses and 26 hotels. All parts come from the 1974 Anniversary edition.

After living for a period in Ohio, William Conway moved his family to Indianapolis, Indiana, and in the 1870's was engaged in a pin manufacturing business. In May of 1881 Conway left Indianapolis for Glendale Mont. George would join the new management team of the Hecla Consolidated Mining Company, with major mining operations at Glendale. In 1884 George Conway was elected as the Secretary and Treasurer for the Hecla Hospital. In 1886 Hecla Mercantile and Banking Company ... moreformed with Conway as Sec. and Treas. In an article that appears in the Dillon Tribune it mentions that the Hecla Mercantile and Banking Company had been formed to purchase Gates& Kappes(formerly Armstrong& Losee and N. Armstrong& Co. at Glendale, Gaffney and Purdum of Melrose and Henry W. Kappes of Hecla. Mr. Conway is mentioned as serving as the secretary and treasurer for the new business venture. In 1910 he moved his family to Helena, and for a time served as State Accountant in Governor Norris' administration.
