Phoenix Dry Rod welding rod dryer - never used
Phoenix/ Dry Rod brand welding rod dryer in near new condition. I would list it as new but it has been sitting around on a shelf and has developed some mild blemishes in the cadmium coating around the top as can be seen in the photo with the lid open. Hi. Clearing out some of my extra oxy-acetylene parts. Up for consideration is a Victor J27 torch body. This is probably an old wartime aircraft torch, And this was rebuilt by the local welding supply store. I'm not sure if they send it out or do it in house. The body was beadblasted and everything is very clean. The valves/knobs turn very smoothly as they should, And they hold the pressure when off. The threads are basically perfect. The only bummer is someone used some type of pliers to remove the center, And there are a couple chew mark right below the valve body. Not too bad though. This is a really nice piece to add to your set. I really should keep this but I have a great J28 setup that works great although it is heavier and longer. Hi Clearing out some of my extra oxy-acetylene torch pieces. Up for consideration is a war-time AIRCO 9100 torch with 2 STYLE 919 tips no 2& 3. This hasn't been used for a while now but should be in working condition. The knobs or valves turn freely with good resistance and hold pressure off. The tips are not plugged up and all the threads are in good shape. I added the cut hose nuts to keep the threads from getting banged up. This has some wear to the plating. Runs off of 120v and includes the four part divider. When empty the unit is relatively light-about 25 lbs. Thermostat operates from 50-300 degrees. I am not sure of the manufacturer thought the unit was purchased by the government and disposed of as surplus.
