Cleaned it, made a few adjustments, lubricated it, reassembled it and refinished it. It now works as well as the day it left the factory. This microtome works smoothly and produces great cuts(see images) It includes a"quick release" specimen holder and a disposable blade holder that can be used with either low profile or high profile blades. The blade cover shown in the enclosed images is also included. The blade holder has an additional feature: Like most blade holders.
