Cold war civil defense radiation detectors. Charger and manual. It includes 4 Bendix CD-742 pens in worn condition and a Industrial Electornics CD V-750 charger along with manual. The pen detectors would be charged to zero, then worn outside after the big one hit. As your body absorbed radiation, a line in the pen would go up. This would indicate the amount of radiation exposure and charts would indicate how long you could stay out side. These are genuine CD units from the cold war area. They are for display and do not work. The charger lights up. But will not zero the pens.

What's that exposure? Great vintage 1930's WESTON Model 850 Photronic Exposure Meter. Has original strap. No instruction sheet or case. A very hard to find version of the 850. This one has a black needle instead of the red version and has no metal plaque on back. Works great. Serial number 23529(stamped on lower inside of face) Wonderful vintage exposure meter, very desirable. There are a number of scales on the display: from bottom to top) Light intensity with needle indicator; Emulsion/ Speed; f: Stops. Between the f: Stops and the Emulsion/ Speed scales is an inner window which shows TIME and LIGHT. Which can be adjusted using the silver-metal flat dial on the top of the meter, with light sensitive cell on back. Manufacturer: Weston Electric Inst. Corp. Newark. NJ. Made in USA. Age: 1930's. Overall condition of the meter is ... moregood for it's age. The body is solid. Could use a light cleaning. There is vintage tape residue on both sides of unit. One side has a faint note about Kodachrome daylight exposure faintly written in ink on a strip of paper under old tape. Face of dial is clean and bright. Portion of revolving speed scale has faded area from light exposure but rest of scale is bright. Metal knob on top rotates scale very smoothly. Original strap is intact. No instructions or case.
