It was made in the USA and while I am not sure of the date I would guess it to be late 1950s. There is no model number on it. Though it appears very similiar to 600 series units I have seen. This vintage unit tests 4, 5, 6 and 7"big pin" tubes as well as octal, loktal, 7& 9 pin miniatures. It is not setup for subminiatures, compactrons or nuvistors. The case measures approximately 14"x10"x6" The unit shows some normal wear and tear, the worst damage being a slight bend to the pointer on the meter(see photos. I checked a few tubes with it and found that some seemed to work fine but others did not show any reading at all. As per the photos this is a BECKMAN Model G pH Meter. I obtained this from a very old chemistry professor at a local university. It was in his"home" lab and he was getting rid of most of his equipment. He told me it worked the last time he had used it. But I cannot provide any guarantees. I can tell you he took care of his equipment, like a scientist would, so I would think this machine still functions. This is a vintage alternating current Ampheres meter. Appears in workable condition.I do not have a method to check this meter. Case appears to be bakelite and is not cracked or broken. Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches vertical and 2 3/8 inches horizontal. From a non-smoking home and will be carefully packaged for safe arrival.

VINTAGE RCA UZ4238 DUAL TEST METER
This RCA UZ4238 is about 70 years old and was used to test audio amplifiers used in radio broadcasting facilities. One meter was for voltage readings and the other was for current. A tag on the meter indicates that the last time it was tested was in 1959. It was probably removed from service in the late 1960s. The cable is cloth covered and it has a telephone type plug. And is used for the current meter. There were separate probes for voltage readings but I do not have them. There is a push button on the side to change the meter scale to 0-10 mA. The case is made of black bakelite. Condition is pretty good considering the age. The individual meters were made by Weston. I tested the volt meter and it works. I didn't have an easy way to check current. Will pack and ship anywhere in the US for $12. Payment by PayPal.

It has various coils that can be attached to give various ranges of amp measurements stored under the lid on the left, and the scale for amps is on a hexagonal prism that can be rotated to pick the appropriate scale. This cool meter has an eye catching star design that makes you want to buy it even if you don't know what it's for. The meter has a viewfinder on the back to read time& aperture settings. The instructions explains how it works. ICA and later Zeiss offered it from 1921- 1934. The leather case with snap closure. Has some wear from use but has a nice green cloth interior where the instructions& meter are kept. The pictures will tell you more. The meter is 2 1/4 inches from side to side.
