Everything works fine. Just has some scuff marks on the case which are small but noticeable. I do not have the probes, they were lost in the process of moving. This American made meter was introduced and sold for $39.00 in 1956. The meter has not been tested but was given a detailed inspection. The glass lens on the meter is in tact with no major scratches or cracks. All of the buttons and knobs on front are present and turns smoothly. The needle on the scale bounces and moves smoothly. I think this meter is tube based but not 100% sure. The unit runs on batteries but I do not know what size. Some minor surface scratches on outer case is present but nothing major. I believe the outer case is made out of bakelite. Built in carrying leather strap is present and is in great shape. No test leads or operator’s manual present. Superior made a lot of test equipment for tubes and such and were around during the golden age of radio. From the look of the Bakelite case, my guess is this is 1920s or 1930s, of course it could be a little newer or a little older. If you lift the cover, the inside parts are simple and robust, there is no reason this won't last forever as it was meant to be repaired, not thrown away like modern junk.
