But any ordinary 12V 1A wall supply will work. The nice thing about these meters is they can take ordinary AA batteries. As well as rechargable. They can also just be used with a DC supply. This is a Coherent FieldMaxII-TOP Laser and Energy Power Meter. These are used to measure laser output with the use of external sensors. There are no sensors included with this item. They will need to be obtained seperately. Unit is in very good condition with light signs of use. It powers on perfectly and the display appears to be in great shape. The backlight is also working. When the unit is powered on, it displays"2.10" on the display which I imagine is the firmware/software level of the unit itself. I connected the unit to my PC after installing the FieldMax software and it was properly detected. I wasn't able to test much further as I don't have any sensors/etc. A sensor is required for this unit to operate properly. The unit has a sticker on the back showing it was last calibrated in 2008.
