For your consideration is a complete vintage 40-meter SSB package consisting of a HW-22 and matching HP-23 power supply, interconnecting cable, and mobile mount. You will need a microphone, an antenna, and a license. No manual is included, but, they are available for download, like. For example. Both transceiver and power supply are freshly refurbished. Refurbishment included a thorough cleaning. Replacement of all resistors that were out of tolerance, replacement of most electrolytic capacitors, checking and replacing vacuum tubes as required, cleaning and treating all relay, switch, tube and bulb socket contacts. The transceiver is freshly aligned and performs flawlessly. The power supply exhibited some low B+ and C-voltage problems that may ... morehave been caused by poor construction practices. I rebuilt that entire section and the power supply now works just fine. All low B+ and C electrolytic capacitors were replaced. Just in case. All other caps reformed nicely when brought up slowly. Both units are in very. Very nice cosmetic condition. A previous owner had installed a loudspeaker into the transceiver cabinet. The speaker was faulty, so, I removed it. A previous owner had, also, installed a handle on the top. That's not something I would do, but, I have to admit, it's pretty handy and it's even color coordinated. If you don't like, remove it! I am selling one HP 435B RF power meter with a 8481A 18ghz power sensor. The glass on the front of the meter is broken. The meter powers on and the needle moves. I have no way to test it further. The value here is the power sensor. This came out of a decommissioned facility. Calibration may be necessary. Since I don't have a way to test the power sensor I will accept a return if it is bad, but the meter is as-is.
