Before Placing your bid please take time to Read the description and Auction Terms Carefully This auction is for a Bird Thruline Model 43 Radio Frequency Watt Meter in leather carry case with adapters for popular coaxial cable connectors(see photos) The meter itself is in good shape and the leather carry handle is in good shape with no cracks. The little rubber feet on the back and bottom of the meter are in good shape with no cracks. The back of the meter has some superficial scratches and there is a small scratch on the back edge of the right-hand side of the meter. The bottom of the meter has some scuffs on the edges joining the sides. Besides the'N' type connectors currently installed on the ... moremeter. The lid of the carry case contains an additional 6 connectors including two SO-239(see photos) The leather carry case is in good shape externally. With no cracks in the leather carry handle and clear, sharp embossing of the trademarks on the front of the case. The Front of the case has a black transfer stain where the label of some other object was absorbed by the leather(see photos) The left side of the top cover has a smudge of white color near the front edge and one of the hinge re-inforcement pieces on the right side of the case has a similar small whitish smudge and both hinge reinforcements have very minor stress wrinkles where they crease on opening the case but no cracks(see photos) The back of the case cover has a similar black transfer to the one in the front. The top of the case has a faint spot the size of a dime. Inside, the felt lining of the case is in great shape. The lid has a covered compartment for the different plug-in elements(slugs) which are not included. This very rare ZENITH frequency meter looks to be in wonderful condition and still in the original box with the original training manual dated July 20. 1944. We see several similar manuals offered on embay but none of them include the frequency meter. Being made of heavy gauge steel it is quite heavy. The front door lifts down and reveals the control panel and calibration book. It is believed to run on batteries but none are included. It has a piano hinge back door, which we did not open for fear of doing any damage. It has various components inside but does not include a headset or cord.
