This unit is in excellent condition AND it comes with added accessories that make it better than run of the mill auction. This meter shows to be accurate and functional on all settings. The top and bottom case are also in great condition but the top case does have a nicely blacked out area where some kind of identification resided. The display is great. NOTE: of late I have seen many sellers either not enclosing the battery or not updating them. also not noting that fuses are bad. Fluke meters are sealed so well that often times the owner breaks the case, or lense, or damages the seals just because they aren't familiar with the proper way to open them(the proper way is noted in the enclosed manual) Also, distinctive with the V series, it has 2 levels of back lighting. Please be advised* The fuses in this unit have been tested in 2 manners. First. By passing a known current through the meter(and fused) circuits and Second, by testing them in the non-distructive manner(before the meter goes out) as prescribed by Fluke. This second process tests the fuses inside the unit by putting the meter in the ohms function and then placing one end of a probe in the positive jack and the other end in the designated current port. The fuse can safely be tested without ANY chance of blowing the fuse because it uses the meter's own circuit AND VERY small current. It was highly favored by engineers, techs and students. It was the first microprocessor controlled meter and I suggest you read the specs at the bottom of the page and the link supplied by a very knowledgable Ebay contributor. This is one of those meters that will pay for itself with the first usages. This is a Fluke 8060A model. It came out of industrial stores where is was kept on a calibration cycle. This unit is nice AND it comes with nice extras. The Topcase and bottomcase are in great shape with no signs of previous ownership such as names. s, etc. The lense is in good condition and the display is in great shape, with no signs of decay. ... moreThe LCD assembly was completely removed and cleaned so it has many good years of operation ahead. New and tested are the battery and fuses.
