Note: Anonymous bidding available This is a nice Model 287 that is in EXCELLENT condition. and there are PREMIUM extras to go with it. It has been completely checked out and is functional and accurate on all scales and all settings. The top and bottom case is in VERY good condition. No little wear showing on the lense(which still has the lense cover intact. The tilt stand. The battery cover, the IR window and the battery connection clips are in excellent condition. The LCD numerals are complete(with NO missing segments) All extra large display. Components, pushbuttons, functions and connectors are checked out and operational. I have also shown the meter with a measured 1 VDC reading, a 10 VAC reading and a 100 kOhms reading which all come from my calibrator. Also ... moreshown is an ambient temp reading. Ser# 95830126-167102 Many Ebay sellers do not mention that the fuses of these meters have been blown AND they are expensive to replace. Additionally. They do not add that the batteries are either depleted or entirely missing. ALL six AAA batteries and fuses are new. Also, and most importantly, they do not even know many times, that the input bridge(the input jacks which are on a single module) have broken, or weak, contacts. The input bridge on this unit has been quality checked so there are many good years in this multimeter. Another common problem with this model is the leakage of batteries which run down and discharge/lead even with the meter off. This meter has been quality check(repaired if needed) against that problem so rest assured there is no battery problem. FLUKE 87 TRMS DIGITAL MULTIMETER. VERY ACCURATE and WITH NICE COMPONENTS! This is a Fluke 87 model. It came out of industrial stores where is was kept on a calibration cycle. Specs for AC accuracy to 20 kHz(where most meters do) but this one is accurate(see pix) to 50 kHz. Which is rare. This unit is nice, with some evidence of bumps, AND it comes with nice extras. The Fluke yellow holster is in good shape. The Topcase and bottomcase are also in great shape with no signs of previous ownership such as names, s, etc. The lense is in average condition and the display is in great shape, with no signs of decay. The LCD assembly was completely removed and cleaned so it has many good years of operation ahead. New are the battery and fuses. It comes with a nice new set of non-fluke CAT III probes, a Quick Reference Guide, a paper factory copy of ... morethe User's Manual, and a CD with the Fluke 87 series meters. Ser# 46850121 NOTE: of late I have seen many sellers either not enclosing the battery or not updating them. also not noting that fuses are bad. Changing batteries and fuses is one of the most common causes of case damage on Fluke meters. Price these fuses. Even on Ebay they are expensive! This insulation tester is used and working. I have never had any problems with this meter in the seven years I have used it. And am selling it because my needs require me to upgrade to a different meter. I am including all three original test leads(positive, negative, guard) with the original alligator clips, the charging/line cable for US 120VAC, the isolated USB interface cable, the original manual and the original soft carrying case. This instrument is a great unit for use in the field by electrical service and maintenance personnel. The unit will measure timed and un-timed insulation resistance, PI, DAR from 250 Volts all the way up to 5000 Volts. Readings can be stored in the unit for later recall, and downloaded to Flukeview software using the isolated USB interface cable included.
