This is a King 2" by 2-1/4" white face amp meter ammeter amp gauge amperes measuring instrument that was made in either England or the United States. I am not sure. It's 2" outer diameter at the top and 2-1/4" o.d. at the bottom and was probably mounted in some type of machine panel a long time ago, it only measures up to 5 amps and has 1/2 amp lines between the numbered lines, so it probably was for a precision low amperage machine of some kind. Anyway, it might add something to your steam punk décor or Jules Verne Halloween costume. I couldn't find any motorcycle application for this, but it could be an early American or English ammeter that mounts in a gas tank panel or maybe a headlamp. You are the expert, I have no idea. Features: The Luxman MX-100 is an extremely good power amplifier from the 80s that employed Luxman's Duo Beta S circuitry and included many innovative design concepts such as a circular power supply transformer. Sealed liquid heatpipe cooling, LED bias circuitry, low noise FETs at the output of the 1st stage that drive the output stage directly eliminating the traditional 2nd stage of typical designs at the time. It provides very stable, high power, wide dynamic range(10-100000Hz) low distortion(015% THD) and low noise(118dB S/N) audio performance with very clean mid and treble range and a very tight bass. The MX-100 is nearly identical electronically to the M-02, and was released for the US market only. This amplifier performs very competitively with more current designs, and shows why Luxman was and still is, one of the top audiophile ... moremanufacturers. A few of the nice features of the amp are its twin segmented LED power meters. Separate output attenuators(on rear panel) to balance the outputs perfectly for a particular room layout, and warm-up relay and indicator light. I've tested it on 110v and 240v AC and both read correctly. The 6 volt and 12 volt tests were approximately 10% low according to my cheap Harbor Freight digital VOM. The OHMS test worked well except for the OHMS x 1 mode would not zero. The original leather case is missing the top. Finally, there is one chip on the backside visible in the pictures. Vintage Lot of 3 Weston Electric Amp and Volt meter, Steampunk electrical gauge
This is a small lot of 3 Weston Electric meters. I have no way of testing these meter but they do appear to be in good condition with no dents. Dings, chips, cracks, or rust, but there are some scuffs and scratches from use. The smallest meter marked U.S.N. TYPE CV-22427 ZERO POWER LEVEL 6 MW. 600 OHMS. MODEL 506 has a diameter of 2 11/16" across the face. The other gauge marked MILLIAMPERES D.C. MODEL 616 no. 2897 measures 3 1/4" across the face. The last gauge is marked WESTON VOLTMETER MODEL 301 NO. 319095 and measures 3 1/4" across the face. These would also work great for an industrial or steam punk style art project. Rare. Weston Electric, Model 633, attachable amp gauge with storage box. Gauge is untested. Box fits item like a glove, is constructed of wood, with leather handle, and copper brackets. Hinges appear to be of brass construct, while front clasp also looks to be of brass construction, but I am not certain. I have done nothing more then to wipe the instrument down. And impregnate the wood with Formby's. A very nice, clean, vintage, art deco style instrument gauge with accompanying box. Research has yielded no example with companion box. Up for auction is this Vintage D&A 15 Meter CW Transmitter Model PDX-400 Tube Amplifier. This amp is in good condition. I plugged the amp in and it powers on fine. The tubes on the inside glow. This is the only testing I did on the amp. I do not know how to further test the amp. The amp is in Good cosmetic condition. There is nothing broken or missing on the amp. The amp has all of its knobs and buttons present and intact on the amp. The amp does show the normal signs of use with minor surface scratches but nothing to take away from its appearance. The amp is heavy. The amp measures approx. 7 1/2” tall by 17” wide by 10 3/4” deep. I took a lot of pictures to show you what you are receiving. The Sangamo Electric Co. manufactured electrical meters. Time switches and sonar and radio equipment, among other items, in Springfield from the 1890s until 1978. This is a very fine example of electrical technology during the early period of electrifying America. This unit appears to be perfect but it has not been tested to perform. So it is being offered for it's historical value. It may well work but I make no distinction as to that.

This is a Larcan 1KW power amplifier module. Removed from service at a local TV station due to the analog shutdown. We've had a lot of questions about these amps. And have created a webpage which answers most of them. This page also has a lot of detailed technical information, including service manuals and modification instructions. You can find this information at It is designed to provide 20dB of gain at 76- 88 MHz: 10W in gets you 1000W out PEP for SSB. In the 6m amateur band(50- 54 MHz) Unmodified, it will provide 15dB of gain- 10W in gives approximately 300W out. By changing some capacitors and removing some jumpers. It can generate the full 20dB gain. If modified, you should derate the output to 600W for FM operation. This amp cannot be modified to operate below the 6m amateur band(below 50 MHz) Circuit board traces are used for ... moreinductive elements and are far too short to go to lower frequencies. Requires a 30 to 50 amp(depending on how much output power you want) 48-50 V power supply. You could probably uses a lower voltage supply for lower output power. We have a limited number of the mating power connector. We will supply this connector at no charge until we run out of them! You will probably want to replace the custom RF connectors. Style 291B500A26, 600 Amp AC current. This meter has a metal case with some minor paint scratches, but is otherwise undamaged. I have no way to test this meter, but the needle is sensitive to handling of the meter and moves around a bit, so it is not seized and I have every expectation that the meter is functional.
