9 inch STARRETT CALIPER WITH VERNIER, OLD SCHOOL & SWEET
Sweet little caliper. Vintage, I just spent about fifteen minutes playing with it and I do declare that this is a clean straight calibrated tool. I read back over the included literature and got reminded of a few features other than it is both an inside and outside measurement tool. The secondary slide is used for micro adjustments with complete control, merely tighten it down on the tool and turn the adjustment screw in or out between it and the vernier for micro adjustments. This is a nice. Impeccable KANON 0-18" 46cm) capacity vernier caliper. It is a very good quality caliper with outside readings on one side of the caliper. It features the hardened stainless steel bar and jaws(4" deep) and fine adjustment, all in very good condition. It has 0.001 inch increments on the bottom(0 to 50) and 1/50mm graduations on the top scale(0 to 10) Both vernier scales are located on the same side of the gage for inside and outside measurements. The scales are in pristine condition with an unmarred satin chrome finish, like the rest of the caliper. This is one well kept caliper, in top condition, with no personal names or ID's or marks, no wear noted, and especially not on any precision surface. It's about 99% in like-new condition! I do have the Styrofoam carton it originally came in. The carton is in solid ... morecondition and has protected this caliper very well. I will ship it to you in a box.
