The old farmer who owned this Dumore Tool Post Grinder years ago bought lots of Army surplus goods. This might be why the steel case is an Army Green color. Every item included is in super clean condition and ... morefunctions well. How nice to have the original accessory box. Too. No damage and no repairs.comes with extra grinding wheels, factory wrenches, spare belt and accessory box with collet and wheels. BUT, best of all.the very hard to find Dumore Ball Bearing Oil can is included. This can has some wear, but has no dents. The original paper surrounding the can is intact, but has some spots and faded in some areas. Both original caps are included. This is a 1/14 HP model and I'm sure it's best adapted to your 10" and smaller lathes. The only flaw is the exterior cracking of the electrical cord at the motor entry. This original cord has an in-line on/off rocker switch and separate ground wire. A local company has recently consolidated its machine shop capabilities. As a result there will be an assortment of tools and accessories coming available for sale. These items will be from the machine shop and/or the maintenance shop. Sale is final so please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Offered here is a Grinding Wheel Cover that came from one of the tool post grinders. All of the grinders I saw in the shop were DuMore. So I am assuming that this was from one of those. The bore diameter for clamping to the spindle measures 1.745" so this should work on a standard 1-3/4" cartridge. The opening for the wheel measures just over 5" The number 566 is cast into the cover and it looks to be in good condition.

An older used high-speed grinder in very good condition from Chicago Wheel& Mfg. Has a single speed of 18000rpm and is 115 volt. AC/DC, runs well smoothly. The chuck is a Jacobs#1A which goes from 0 to 3/8" works smoothly in both directions and has jaws in excellent condition. Cord in very good condition with no cracks or breaks or repairs, still quite pliable. The plug is cracking from age and will eventually require replacing. Overall length is 11" motor diameter is 3 1/2" and the shank between the motor and the chuck is 1 1/4" Cord is approx. 8 ft. long. Whole unit weighs 5 3/4lbs.
