Beautiful Custard Lemon Reamer / Juicer McKee Swirl Top Pale Yellow SUPER NICE!
This auction is for a very nice vintage reamer/ juicer manufactured by McKee. It is marked McK in a circle on one side and has a small number 7 on the other. The color is custard or light pastel yellow circa depression era. It measures about 7 1/2 inches long from spout to handle x 3 1/2 inches tall- this is the smaller size meant for lemons and lemonade! The actual reamer is strongly swirled and there are typical straw marks and under edge roughnesses. This is a great addition to any early 20th century kitchenware or reamer collection. Happy bidding!

This hard-to-find item was made by Gladding McBean and is known as a Jiffy Juicer. It measures approximately 8 inches long from the end of the handle to the tip of the spout and about 5 1/8 inches tall to the highest point. The juicer is made of pottery with a bright yellow glaze. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare. The underside of the juicer has an impressed mark that is difficult to read and essentially is illegible. The juicer has several small chips. There are some tiny chips on one side of the foot. There are several small chips on the raised edges of the reamer. All of this damage is shown- magnified- in the photos below. Very Small Green Depression Juicer/Reamer With Flat Handle and Small Spout- In Very Much Used Condition! Here is a very old relic of the depression years to remind you of the days when juicing was done by hand. This is a very small juice reamer with a flat carrying handle and very small spout. The spout is actually not opposite the handle but to the side and not directly accross from the handle like most juicer/reamers. This item has been used and has a little damage to it and we offer this primarily for the collector who has been looking for one of these and it is just in very used condition. As you can see by the pictures- the small handle is half broken and on the base there is a large chip on the rim of the base. Otherwise it is in excellent shape. The juicer is small and measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The height is 2 3/4 inches from ... morethe base to the top of the middle portion that stands up. The distance from the end of the handle to the opposite end is 5 1/2 inches. The base diameter that sits on the table is 4 inches. There are no nicks. Scratches, cracks, or flea bites on this piece but due to it's age we do see a few tiny manufacturing bubbles at various spots which verify the accuracy of this piece for us.
