It appears to have lived a pretty easy life. ... moreIt is mechanically tight and is ready to go to work. It has been stripped to bare metal and repainted. Everything works as it should and the teeth and gear are perfect. It has the original base plate also. There are a couple of minor hammer marks on top of the ram put there by some idiot at one point in time. The top is not mushroomed and it doesn't interfere with the travel. If my lathe was big enough. I would have chucked it up and removed a few thousandths re-facing it. This press is about as nice as you will find one. If you were waiting for a nice one to come along, this is it. I will consider any reasonable offer for it. I will answer any questions about this press and the shipping of it the best I can.
