Vintage Ralmike's 0"-1" Micrometer #103-113
This micrometer is a used 0"1" micrometer sold by the Ralmikes's Tool-A- Rama in New Jersey back in the 60's/70's. The frame's painted color is very sim ilar to Mitutoyo with a black inserted tag block. The tag block name has worn off. There are some initials inscribed in the mic's frame. This is an early Mitutoyo made in Brazil) The box has"Made in Br azil" printed on the bottom. These are collector items because of the old Ralmike's Tool-A-Rama name. This is a 0"1" micrometer with carbide faces& measures in tenths. I notice a very small chip broke out of the anvil side of the carbide face. It's very small& surely has no effect on the accuracy of the Mic. This Mic comes in original box with the Ralmike's Tool-A-Rama name plate on the box. Inside micrometer set -Rod Type International Tool USA - similar to Starrett 124
Offered without reserve is a vintage Inside micrometer set from an estate. This set is housed in a thick Bakelite case that has a very high quality feel. I suspect that this set would date back into the 1940's- 50's era. It was made by the International Tool Co. in the USA(San Leandro Calif. It is quite similar the the Starrett 124 or 823d sets we sold a few months ago and is of just as high of quality in my opinion. The longest rod is approx. 10" long and the rest are of various lengths. The micrometer itself has a short rod installed that was pushed in to it's short limit, there are 8 rods total. This is a Mitutoyo#129-141.001" depth micrometer set. Comes in original case with paperwork included with 4 rods with the longest being about 7" Outside of case is grubby from being handled. Up for auction is a complete vintage Lufkin Rule Company of Saginaw. Michigan, USA caliper set that measures distances from 1 inches to 2 inches. All parts are in working condition with minor wear, but all numbers are still legible and clear; the box has some wear around the edges but is still very presentable. This set includes the caliper itself, a disc measuring exactly 1.000" in diameter to check calibration, the caliper wrench, and storage box. The caliper is complete and working and includes the lock, hand grip to turn the measuring piece, and the ratcheting piece on the end(if you want to get an exact measurement with the measuring piece screwed down tight, use the thicker thumbscrew; if you want an accurate measurement but do not want to damage the piece or are working in softer metal, then you turn the smaller screw on the end ... morewhich allows the knob to ratchet) A very nice, complete vintage tool that comes complete with all working parts.
