Comes with 10 rods and a spacer that will enable you to check inside diameters from 1.5 inches to 12.5 inches. Also includes allen wrench for adjusting/calibration. Also the handle that screws into the side as shown in picture#4. Ends of ALL rods still micro smooth micrometer itself has.500" of travel. All tucked into the beautiful, factory original, hardwood case.I would grade this a solid 8 on a 1-10 scale with 10 being new. Up for auction I have several items. There is a Brown& Sharpe wooden dovetailed micrometer box with a partial label and marked on the top of the box“Brown& Sharpe Mfg. Co. Providence. R.I. U.S.A. The box measures 5-3/4” inches in length by 2-1/2” inches in width and 1” inch in height(all measurements are approximate)The condition is well used but still a nice old box with slide in top. The contents of the box will include the owner’s manual for a Brown& Sharpe Micrometer caliper. An old plastic card advertising the Brown& Sharpe factory with conversions on the flip side which I believe is dated 1943. Also included is what I believe to be called an inside micrometer that was manufactured by the L.S. Starrett Company in Athol. Massachusetts. This tool measures only 2” inches in the closed position? This tool looks pretty good ... morebut I’m not a machinist so I do not know if this tool is functioning properly. I know it looks very clean. There is also a very small wrench. The larger micrometer is in rough shape with a lot of pitting on the handle. I know it was manufactured in Worcester. MA. Possibly by the Reed Company. I can read the word HANDY on it.
