Mini Air Die Grinder Set Dotco Mac Straight Right Angle Carbide Burr Cut Off
This is a nice set of used die grinders and accessories that are all fully functional and ready to go to work. Included are a USA made Dotco rated at 12.000 RPM, an unknown brand red dye grinder(probably Mac tools) rated at 25,000, and an Ampro straight dye grinder made in Taiwan. All grinders run true without wobble or excessive free play. Also included are chuck keys for all grinders, a cut off attachment with 2 wheels and 2 very high quality carbide burrs. Burrs were only used to cut soft metal and show very little if any wear that I can see. There are no safety guards on these grinders. The Dotco and the red grinder look as if they did not come stock with one and the guard on the Ampro was removed resulting in the trigger handle being slightly bent but still fully functional. Can be seen in photo# 3) All grinders take 1/4" shank ... moreaccessories. The cut-off mandrel/arbor allows you to run 3" high speed wheels with the correct center hole diameter. Included are the last of my ten pack of shark wheels which I found to be high quality. The Dotco seemed to be the best performing grinder. And I didn't use the other two as much although they worked fine when I did use them. The air pressure adjustment screws on the Dotco and Ampro move freely, but I never was able to adjust the red one as the adjustment screw was stuck tighter than I could turn with a screwdriver. I ended up not worrying about it as the speed it was set at seemed to be fine. All grinders come with fittings as shown. This is a good set for a professional mechanic or a home mechanic and anyone in between who has an air compressor. I am no longer working in a shop environment and don't have a space for a compressor so I won't be using them. Hopefully someone can put these tools to good use.
