THIS CALIPER IS IN NICE CONDITION AND MEASURES ACCURRATELY SHOWING VERY LITTLE USE. This is a really nice set of CRAFTMAN Dial Calipers. The dial shows 200 thousands. It goes from the top zero to hundred at the bottom. Then zero to 100 again back around to the top. Very easily read. It says that it measures.001 It has a nice roller to move distance and it has two locks to make things stay at a certain setting. These Calipers show outside demension and inside demension and also depth demension. Great for the person using acuate sizing. Make a nice gift, Really nice in your tool box. I can find NO damage! The Starrett 1202F-6 dial caliper measures 0 to 6 inches with 0.01” and 1/64” accuracy. This handy measuring tool allows for reliable and accurate depth. Inside, and outside readings with the sharp, black graduations on the no-glare, satin-finished bar, crisp lines on the dial face, and knife edge contacts on the jaws. The dial’s inner, decimal scale is white, while the outer, fractional scale is yellow. One full revolution of the dial is equivalent to 0.100” The knife-edge contacts can be used to scribe parallel lines on the workpiece. This caliper can be used with one hand through operating the fine adjustment roll with the thumb. The lock screw locks the dial bezel and holds the sliding jaw in position. The depth rod is integrated into the rack of the caliper. Unlike many calipers which offer a detachable depth rod, or none at all. Includes the original Etalon wooden box. Very. Very nice tool. Slides smooth. Jaws are sharp and show no light or gaps when held up to a light. Includes the original Etalon box. Which is in very good condition, with only some light shelf wear. The clasp and the hinge of the wood box are tight. No name or etchings on the calipers or the wood box. I honestly see NO signs of use. Please notice. These calipers have adjustable scales. This means. That the jaws can be reground, if it ever becomes necessary, and the scales adjusted to recalibrate the calipers-protecting your investment. This is a great tool: a hole centre vernier caliper with vertically adjustable left jaw. This feature enables the user to measure the absolute distance between two features on different planes. The left jaw can be set to as much as 35mm below the plane of the right jaw. Despite having to list this as used. It shows zero signs of wear. There were no fingerprints on the case where I bought it. No scratches or scuffs or the fine signs of even tender handling. The foam in the box looks new too.
