This lens is extremely rare and has a very wide field of view for such a short focal length. Designed for aerial reconnaissance mapping on 9” x 18” film. I have used this lens on my 14” x 17” Its truly amazing. I’m not sure what the image circle is, but considering the 6” Metrogon will cover 8x10, the 12” should cover close to double its focal length also. I usually focus wide open. its like looking at a 17” TV screen” and then stop down. The lens is bright. Sharp and contrasty. Note the lens opens to f5 and closes down to f64, even though the aperture scale only reads from f6.3 to f32. If your looking for a wide angle lens for your ULF camera this would make an excellent optic. Or for someone who wants lots. And lots, and lots of movements on 8x10, here ya go. I use a hat for a shutter. Which works quite well for me. This lens also works quite well for wet plate. With a shallow depth of field at f5. I have used it with very slow Ortho film(asa-6) on everything from 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10, up to 14x17 and it was wonderful. The out of focus areas“Bokeh” being very smooth. The lens is mounted in a 6x6 lens-board. Which will fit a Calumet C1. I believe this is the standard size Deardorff board as well. If you took the front and rear elements and held them together, they would be about the size of a baseball, this is a lot of glass. What you see is what you get. The lens mounted in the lens-board with the two lens caps for protection. Please review pictures closely and ask questions if you have any. Machinist Angle Plate Toolmaker Apprentice Grinding Milling Work Block
Well we have just taken in a complete Machinist Tool Cart loaded with Model Maker/ Tool Maker fixtures. Measuring equipment, cutters, borescopes etc. We have to empty the top tool box, 2-drawer riser, main roll around base& side drawer hanging cabinet. All keys are with the boxes, all tools are a little aged from sitting but its tool steel so easy to clean up with a little elbow grease. Once the contents are sold the Tool Cart will be listed for auction, LOCAL pick up, but we can deliver to select locations. This stuff is heavy so in most cases we will be using USPS Flat Rate shipping so box size will determine price. We will try to fit as much in a small. Medium, or large box as we can, so if you buy multiple items we will discount shaping where ever possible.
