Eshelman's works are on display at the NYC Museum of Art and Design. In 1958. He was one of five woodworkers featured in the American Pavillion at the Brussels World fair. great old wood lathe part. I think. I found this in my father's workshop, in the area of a massive, 7-8' lathe base. I can remember him using the lathe around 1960, but don't know what happened to it. The base is still there, and this part by the base, unused for 50 years. It is in very good condition, only surface rust. all parts work smoothly. Adjustable up, down and all around! It weighs around 30 pounds. I believe this is the tailstock wrench from an old lathe that I used to own. The brand was Delta. Rockwell, or Homecraft- can't remember for sure. I also had an old jointer from the same era and manufacturer, but I am pretty sure this was from the lathe. Internet search indicates that it is the tailstock wrench for a Delta Rockwell Milwaukee wood lathe so I am pretty confident, but I may be mistaken, so ask questions if you are uncertain.

Old armature lathe and undercutter. Trucut Model B15 manufactured by Frank N Wood Company of Waukesha, Wi. It looks complete but is untested. The power cord is dry rotted and I'm not plugging that in. Check the pictures. From the pictures I can find online of similar machines, this looks like everything is there. Should be a handy machine, and would be very handy if you're working on electric motors or armatures/commutators. This is heavy and will. Unfortunately, be expensive to ship. If you don't need the motor(it's untested and I have no idea if it works) I can remove it and that should cut the shipping price considerably. No guarantee I can get the belt pulley off the shaft though, so keep that in mind. If you'd like to pick it up let me know before bidding or paying.

The top measures about 57" and the shelf is 54" and they are in great condition with 4 holes for mounting to the legs and the top has three holes to mount the lathe on. They are 9" wide and 1 5/8" thick with bevelled edges. I am not sure of the species of hardwood. But it is nice wood, unfinished except for the way oil. there is a round stain on the top of the shelf that would sand out, or just turn the shelf over. This pair came off a 12" X 36" Craftsman 101.27440 lathe with cast iron legs but also works with many lathes.
