Central Machinery 9 x 20 geared head. Belt driven bench metal lathe. It has a 3/4" spindle bore, 9" swing over bed, and 20" between centers, overall bed length is about 28" Has a 3/4 hp 110v motor and runs nice. Spindle bearings were repacked with Lucas ren'n tacky#2 EP grease not long ago, and it has been kept oiled, NOT with cheap motor oil but with quality Mobil Vactra way oil and dte heavy/medium oils. The bed is heat treated and doesn't have any dings/dents or damage along its whole length. The machine is mounted on a very sturdy Waterloo bench. The top worm surface measures 23"x54"x1 1/4" it makes for a solid structure and lots of storage space with its 3 drawers. All drawers have ball bearing slides. Hardinge Cobra 42 CNC lathe w/ chuck, collets, and tooling
This machine is located in Forristell MO. I can not figure out how to get that changed in my listing. The only thing wrong with it is that the tool changer does not index. It was sold to me as a machine in working condition. But it was not. I replaced the spindle bearings and have broken them in. The spindle will need to be aligned by the buyer. The machine came to me without parameters. I have files for them, but do not have a computer that I am able to link to the control to load them. I entered all of the parameters manually, and I have been able to get all of the functions to work except the tool changer. The spindle turns on and off correctly, the parts catcher works and the machine will move in both handle and automatic mode. The tail stock ram also moves correctly. I sent the tool changer servo to be tested and it works properly. I ... morealso had a fanuc tech check out the drive and he said that it is working properly, so all of the hardware for the tool changer seems to be functional. This machine also includes a cabinet full of collets and a 6" chuck with some jaws. I would estimate that there are more than 100 collets and at least 20-30 collet stops. This machine has the collet nose built into the spindle and the draw bar screws directly into the back of the collet. No collet chuck or adapter is needed. All of the work holding will come in a cabinet that is included. There are also tool holders for each station on the turret and several turning tools of different types. Can be used to cut tapers as well. The lathe is on the original cabinet with some dinges, scratches and minor dents. The lathe itself was repainted because most of the paint had worn off. The old oil cups on the carriage have been replaced with new ones as the old ones were easily broken. The ways look good, no lip, very smooth with minor scratches. The backlash is about 1/8 turn on all handles. The power feed and threading work fine. Lathe runs fine and all functions seem to work good. This lathe has the most tooling of any lathe we have had. Spindle is L0, bore is about 1 1/2" This machine can be picked up from my shop which is 10 miles south and east of downtown Saint Louis. Missouri, forklift loading is free. MAZAK SQT 15M MARK II CNC LATHE LIVE TOOLING ON TURRET
You are looking at a Mazak SQT 15M Mark II CNC Lathe with live tooling on the turret. It was manufactured in June of 1995. I purchased this machine from a recommendation from a former employee who knew the mazatrol language. That employee no longer works here and everyone else here is really only comfortable with Fanuc. We wanted to use the live tooling on the turret for a specific job. That job has come and gone. We have had this machine under roof for 3 years. In those 3 years. I had 3 different employees who knew how to program the machine. If you know the language. man is it quick to make a program. I have been told by many people that this machine does not look near its age. I have been told by our Mazak repairman that this is the best condition he has ever seen a machine of this age. This is due to the company that we bought it from ... morehad very deep pockets and whenever it needed any type of maintenance or repair. It got it immediately without concern for expense. The machine did not come with a single live tooling holder. So just after I bought it. I had to put out an additional $12,000.00 for brand new Parlec Brand live tooling holders. We have less than a couple hours on any single one of the live tool holders. So they are basically still brand new. We also had to replace the X axis drive. So that is still like new. The machine came with a collet nose. I am sure it is under roof still but I need to put my hands on it. if I can find it. that will be included with the machine also. We removed the collet nose and put on brand new MWK Brand 8" 3-jaw chuck. Model# ZA6-8-52-27. This is a high quality Japanese chuck. can't remember exact cost but was not cheap either! This machine runs great! You could eat out of the back electric cabinet. I am very sure that whoever ends up with this machine will be very happy with it. Acessories and tooling: 5" 3 Jaw reversible chuck. 6" 4 Jaw chuck, 5" drive plate, lantern toolpost with 6ea holders, Quick change gearbox, original thread dial, Jacobs chuck, live& dead centers, misc cutters, 2ea lathe dogs and wrenches. The lathe is on the original cabinet with some dinges, scratches and minor dentswith one door handle missing. The ways average with some wear, dinges, minor area ground to be larger and scratches. The backlash is about 1/4 turn on all handles. The power feed and threading work fine. Lathe runs fine and all functions seem to work good. Lightly used near Pristine South Bend 9"X24" metal lathe with tooling purchased from the original owner. Purchased in about 1950 serial number is 21059NKR7 model number 344ZD. Powered by 110volt with reversing drum switch. The ways on this machine are one step short of perfect. The scrapings are crisp and clearly visible from front to back on all ways. The back lash is 1/8 turn on cross and compound. The chuck has never hit the compound or carriage. The paint is original with a little rubbed off in places from cleaning. The cabinet and chip pan are clean and in near perfect condition. This lathe has never been really dirty. All corners are clean as new. The gears are all perfect and pretty clean. This is the nicest best kept South Bend we have ever seen loaded with tooling. The lathe runs as good as it looks. All functions work ... moregreat and it has a new flat belt. Very minor scratches on the lathe. 1984 Ikegai FT20U. See video It has a 12 station turret with live tooling and all 12 stations can be"live" Features a servo driven full C axis for milling. 20 hp main spindle and a 5 hp milling spindle. A2-8 Spindle nose and a 3.23 spindle bore. Has RS-232 port for easy program transfer. Comes with all toolholders shown. Does not come with chuck shown. It has 7 live toolholders with it. These alone are worth several thousand dollars. We also have several rebuild kits for the live heads that I'll throw in. It comes with a full set of manuals. We have owned this machine for the last 15 years and have used it sparingly. Only thing we know not to work is the cooling fan for the spindle motor. Probably an easy fix but we have had no reason to do it. We run short jobs on it and the spindle motor just does not get very hot for what ... morewe used it for. The spindle drive was completely rebuilt 6 months ago and it has a new power supply for the control in it. It is a Fanuc 6TB control. We also have the Fanuc manual for it. We had this machine under Fanuc contract and had them look it over the last time they were out and everything checked out fine. This is still a very good machine and holds good tolerances. We routinely hold.0005 on bores with no problem. We have bought a new 4 axis lathe and needed the floor space so it had to go. Sold as is where is. No returns. DO NOT PAY UNTILL INVOICE IS SENT Up for auction today we have a German Boley RD25 Turret Lathe comes with all tooling pictured pick up only from Nyora South Gippsland was purchased at a clearance sale for a couple of pieces of tooling that we required the rest is surplus to our needs. It runs off 3 phase power which we do not have and thus sold untested as can be seen comes with many tool holders collets etc worth the cost in tooling alone, in good condition. To my Australian customers prefered payment is bank deposit or money order. When paying by these methods i can post as soon as money clears into my account, all items sent registered.
