1962 Fender Precision Bass Fullerton Reissue - Super Clean!
Hello and thanks for checking out my auction! This is a 1982 Fender Vintage Reissue'62 P Bass. Serial Number V009938) This was the first year of the Fender reissues. Often referred to as the"Fullerton" Reissues because they were made in the ORIGINAL Fender Factory in Fullerton California(closed in late 84) from the ORIGINAL blueprints, with the ORIGINAL Lathes and Machinery used to create the original instruments in 1962! This is just a gorgeous Bass with absolutely no issues at all. It is not a closet queen that has never been played so it is worn in but not worn out. There is some wear on the sides from my elbow and some finish checking on the front. Back, and headstock and a couple finish chips on the body, but there are no cracks or structural flaws anywhere. The neck is dead straight and the Frets are in excellent shape ... moresince I have only used flat wound strings on it. The pickups are original, the solder joints untouched and I have the bridge and pickup covers. not pictured) I have La Bella flats on it right now for a big fat sound but if you would prefer I will ship it with a new set of(vintage 1980s) Rotosound round wounds on it. I have a case of these strings) This bass comes with an old Fender case but it's not the original case. Hardinge HSL-59 CNC Servo High Speed Second Op Lathe Super Precision 115 Volt
Up for sale is a Hardinge HSL-59 super precision second operation CNC Servo lathe. This is a nice clean little unit that will make someone a nice lathe. I have powered it up and played with it some. I was able to get the screen to do a few things. But I have not been able to do much more than that. It may be that some sort of code needs to be typed in to get it moving, but I haven't figured it out so it will have to go to someone that can. I was able to move the cross slide X-Y positions with the little buttons mounted on each cross slide motor and you can see the numbers on the screen moving in accordance up and down. It could be a board or something, but I just don't know so you are getting it AS-IS. I prefer this to be picked up and I will load on your truck for free.
