Stainless Steel Rod 1/2" dia. X 26" surplus round stock - 20" uncut 304 316?
This auction is for one(1) 1/2" X 26 1/2" stainless steel rod. These were machined to be used in an assembly that was used in a marine environment. The rod has approximately 5" of 1/2"X 13 thread on one end and a notch on the opposite end for a retaining clip. Each rod has about 20" of uncut or unmachined 1/2" stock. Some may have a number stamped on the rod in very small text and some may have that number on a sticker(see pictures) I don't know which stainless steel material this is but since it was part of an assembly that was used in an ocean going floating platform I assume this is possibly 316. However I have no way to confirm. For the most part these are unused although a few may have been assembled then disassembled. Expect some scratches and blemishes from storage.
