Vintage Handmade North and Judd Anchor Marked Chrome Plated Steel Cowboy Spurs
This is a vintage pair of handmade spurs made by North& Judd and are marked with the anchor mark on the bottom of the shanks. North and Judd is listed in Bit and Spur Makers in the Texas Tradition by Ned and Jody Martin and Kurt House. These spurs appear to be for the same foot. The heel band on the outside of the spurs is wider than the heel band on the offside. These spurs were originally sold and worn this way. The spurs are chrome plated steel and there is rust build where the plating flaked and some dings from use. Both sides of the spurs are shown in the photographs. This would be a nice old pair of spurs to add to your collection. Three Different Antique Victorian Silver Plated& Cut Steel Nutcrackers Here are three attractive pairs of nineteenth century nutcrackers- all different patterns- all good quality& in good condition: these are 1) silver plated steel nutcrackers with finely turned handles.These look black but are in fact just tarnished- a clean with silver polish will bring these up very bright indeed. 2) Silver plated with plain turned handles- very solid these. With the plating in exceptionally good condition. 3) A pair of cut and blued steel nutcrackers in a simple but pleasing shape. Size: approx 5 1/2 inches long( 14 cm) Weight: 330 grammes Condition: some wear and some very minor loss of plating and an odd rust spot. But they are in good useable condition- the tarnished pair could do with a good polish- see the photographs Payment must be made ... morewithin 7 days of winning bid unless other arrangements have been made. Standard stock the rod is then made smooth through a process that removes some diameter the rods are then cut. Bent, welded and dipped for chrome plating there are 2 styles of WELDS hand arc/torch weld which applies a bead between the plate and rod to the left and right on ... morethe face(ugly) spot mechanical weld in an automation process like automobile hoods. Fenders, doors etc are done this type of weld is calculated. Uniform, and consistent- also way more attractive(cant see it without inspection. see pic) OUR SLAT WALL HOOKS USE SPOT WELDS. CRITICAL MEASURES! the slat boards themselves should be 1/4" thick(distance between backside of hook drop plate and face of tang is 1/2 inch) the gap between the top slat board and the bottom one should be 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch(free and clear tang height is 9/16 or 1/2+1/16) the I.D. of the hole in the tang is 7/32 inch diameter the plate is 1/16 inch thick the hook support drop is just over 2 1/2 inches WEIGHT A box can weigh up 20 pounds depending on the piece count. That calculation is about 2 pounds per 10 pieces. Make sure that the person moving this has a good back and exercises proper posturing when picking up or setting down.

Scratches and dings. Some loss of brass plating on the sides. Some surface rusting to the handle lever and the bottom mounting screw. Wooden handle is worn and has a small crack. Its arm slides through a stationary post. And there is a screw down to hold it at the desired length. The post stem rotates, and the other end swings.
