1947/1955 Delaware Stainless Steel License Plate NO RESERVE
This is the 1947 base plate with non-reflectorized. Bare stainless steel numbers. Condition is only"Good Minus to not quite Good" because both of the#2's of the serial number look like they popped off at some point, and were stuck back on with adhesive glue. The first#2 is a little bent at the top and bottom, and sits about 1/8 of an inch above the surface of the plate, due to thick blobs of glue beneath it. These two numbers are glued on nice and tight, and they are in no danger of falling off. I purchased this plate about 30 years ago in Sussex County Delaware from an old farmer who was having a tag sale. Here is your chance to get one of these scarce old plates cheap.
