VINCENT BACH 1 1/2C Trumpet Mouthpiece GOLD-PLATED RIM. EXCELLENT!!
Here for sale is an excellent. And very beautiful Vincent Bach 1 1/2 C Trumpet Mouthpiece from the 1980's, or possibly the early 1990's. I had made a mistake in listing this item a couple of days ago. I had listed it as a 1 1/4 C. My mistake. It is NOT a 1 1/4 C. THIS MOUTHPIECE IS A 1 1/2 C. My apologies to those who had placed bids before I had to end the previous auction because of my error in the listing. While it is not a Mt. Vernon Bach. It is rather rare, because it has a gold-plated rim. I came across it a number of years ago, and never used it, outside of personal practice on my Eb and smaller trumpets. I decided to stick with my old Bach"1 1/4 C" not"1 1/2 C" mouthpiece from the 1960's for my smaller trumpets. This mouthpiece is in outstanding condition. The rim is in gold-plate. The rest of the mouthpiece ... moreis in silver-plate. To me, it does not look like the entire mouthpiece was re-plated. The silver looks original. But the gold-plate on the rim would have likely been done sometime after it was originally manufactured. There is evidence on the shank(you can see on the first two photos) that the mouthpiece has been plated. Something I cannot explain is why the shank evidence stops at only about half-way that one would normally insert the shank on a trumpet. However, as you can see by the photo, the tip(opening) of the shank is round and true. The stamped printing on the mouthpiece reads exactly this: VINCENT BACH CORP. 1 1/2 C" The"period" after the word"CORP" is close to the letter P. Which indicates manufacturing date of in the 1980's to early 90's. This mouthpiece has never been dropped. Damaged, physically altered(except for gold-plating the rim) or repaired. The throat size is the standard# 27 throat. In my descriptions. I attempt to be as completely accurate and detailed as possible. The rim is flawless. In holding it up to the light, at every angle, I do not see any scratches, or flaws at all. The only thing that is not perfect abou

This is a beautiful vintage Georgian Style candelabra. Made in Britain. The candelabra is silver E.P. zinc. Actually looks newer than it is. Plating is mostly intact but there are some areas of silver loss and minor tarnishing. This Georgian style candelabra stands 12 1/2" tall and is 14" wide. The two outside sconces are supported by fluted arms. Very ornate and has nicely embossed details. E.P. Zinc and Made in England are marked under the two outside sconces. A total of 4. Antique silverplate baluster candlesticks, measuring 11 1/4" high. Each have removeable tops for cleaning out candle wax. Round bases measure 5 1/2" in diameter. Ornately decorated with raised floral& scrolling pattern. Covered in green felt on the bottom to not scratch tabletop. These beautiful candlesticks are weighted, and VERY HEAVY. The least heavy stick weighs 1,345 grams on my electronic kitchen scale, the others range from 1,520- 1,577 grams! Unmarked, but certainly old. Recently purchased at an estate sale along with a large amount of antique sterling silver dating from the early 1900's. Good condition- one of the candlesticks has a small indentation on the outside ring of the bottom base, and another has a small indentation on the main center stem. 3 Silver Plated Forks, unknown pattern, 1 is 1847 Rogers Bros Meriden Britannia
For sale is this a lot of 3 unknown patter silver-plated forks. They appear to be similar patters. However I was unable to find the exact patterns anywhere. I do know that there are markings on two of the fork on is 1847 Rogers Bros with the Meriden Britannia Co. symbol to the right of it. The other is Wm Rogers and Son 12. I believe these two forks date back the late Nineteenth Century and the unmarked piece is probably from the same era. I tried to get as many shots of the forks as I could so that everyone could see the flaws of the forks. The Major flaws are that there seems to be some kind of yellow residue on the unknown fork, and the 1847 Rogers for has noticeable scratches of the handle both front and back. The Wm Rogers and Son fork seems to be in pretty decent shape, however all three seem to show signs of heel marks on the back ... moreside. Please see attached pictures.
