Here are 2 Vintage White Milk Glass Lightning Rod Balls. One Mounted on Its Original Copper Tube! Both are in Very Good Condition! There are a very few small chips on each- But Only- on their top and bottom which would be covered by the metal end caps- Not Included. The one still mounted on its Original Copper Tube is about 4 inches in Diameter. The Center Hole in this one is 7/8 inches in Diameter. The Other Ball is about 4 and 1/2 inches in Diameter with a Center Hole that is about 1 and 1/8 inches in Diameter. The First picture shows the true White Color of both of These. In the second picture. There appears to be a hint of blue, but this is due only to incorrect lighting. Both of These are Good Collectables!

This is a 53 1/4" vintage fishing rod. It does not have any names. Numbers or markings on it. It seems to be made of bamboo(6 sided) shape I think. ANTIQUE VTG COPPER CAST IRON LIGHTNING ROD WEATHERVANE AAFA FOLKART AMERICANA
This is a wonderful VINTAGE ANTIQUE LIGHTNING ROD. DIRECTIONAL WEATHERVANE WITH COUNTRY PRIMITIVE HOLLOW ROOSTER THAT HAS GREAT DETAIL. The weathervane was made for a barn or cupola and is circa 1900, if I had to guess. The directional rod seems to be cast iron, the lightning rod seems to be copper and the rooster is made of what, I think, is zinc. The weathervane is 34" tall and is 23" wide at the arrow. The bottom stand has 2 mounting holes for screws on each leg and the rooster is 10 1/4" tall and 7 1/2" wide. The weathervane is in very nice condition with a very small dent in the lightning rod and there might be a repair on the directional rod. There is a glob of something on it by the arrow. I cannot see what it is because of the paint so I am not sure. It might just be a weight. I have to say, that I did not notice ... moreit when I bought it years ago. The weathervane is a great piece of Americana and would made a great architectural addition to your home or it has many more years of being a weathervane. This packing rod is very well made and toward the handle you can still make out some of the minute"factory lines" near the hand grip. The grip appears to have been originally painted a bluish-green color. These paper shots are from old mining equipment catalogs. Awesome early copper/brass Weathervane. In as found condition. The letters and their cross pieces are I believe brass or bronze as they are heavy. The arrow im pretty sure is all copper due to its discoloration. One side of the"feathers" on the arrow could use resoldered to the shaft. The top copper tube has solder on it as if it has had some kind of animal or figure soldered to it at one time. Measures 45 inches tall. Great yard art. Roof topper or just for your collection. Large Antique Barn Cupola Hello. For your consideration is this large, hand made, antique, tin barn cupola in good to very good condition. There are of course plenty of dents, dings, bullet holes, a couple of tears, and lots of surface rust, all of which can be seen in the p hotos below. There has been only a slight amount of repair and replacement work done to it such as the cone is relatively new and the 6" tear has a patch riveted in place on the inside. Also there are a few rivets in two of the ornate gussets. A few more in one of the seams and it looks like a bit of touch up paint here and there. With all that said it is still very solid with a lot of life and character, it could be put back into service, or would make an ideal display for your yard or favorite weather vane. The approximate dimensions are 6" tall to the top ... moreof the red cone. The base is 36" x 36" not counting the flanges and the wind ring is 36" in diameter. The weight is only a guess at 75 pounds. This item does not ship and is available for local pick-up only. Antique Brass & Copper Lightning Rod Tips Points Spires NATIONAL (6)
Here are six(6) antique lightning rod tips or spires. The three screw-on tips are made of brass. And the other three are made of copper. Two of the non-screw on tips are marked"National Pure Copper. The three that do not screw on are approximately 7 1/4" in length. The tallest screw-on tip measures approximately 10" in length, and the other screw-on that is not bent measures approximately 8 5/8" in length. There is a little bend to the 10" spire at the tip; there is a lot of discoloration to one of the tips that does not screw on(and this one has a little bluntness at the tip) they all show the expected wear; one of the screw-ons is bent; and some of them have green discoloration.
