4 Vintage Brass Chime Bell Tubes Grandfather Clock Door Bell Nutone?
I found these at a recent estate sale. They were part of a collection which included a complete Nutone K44 door chime. These are not marked but are in nice condition. I have another set up now too so have a look if interested. This set plays the Westminster chime and they sound great. They are all 1 1/8” diameter. The longest is 50 ½” and the shortest is 38 3/8” The 43 ½” tube has a stress crack at the bottom and the top and there is a stress crack in one of the others at the top as well. This does not affect the chime as they all have a great resonating long ring. They will need to cleaned. If desired, as some have masking tape residue on them. This is a great sounding and nice looking vintage set of orchestra chimes made by Deagan. Tubes are 1.5" diameter brass. Range is from C-F for 1 1/2 octaves. The paint on the frame and lacquer on the tubes do not look original. A number of cracked tubes have been repaired. There are no dead sounding notes. Not all screws are original. Cord and plastic sleeves were replaced. Wheel lock does not work. Instrument will be disassembled for shipping and reassembly required.

TV-7 tested good. Up for bids are three good looking and very good testing. Brass base, UV(short pin) C-301A, UV-01-A 201A type, amplifier/detector vacuum tubes. The two tubes on the left are both branded RCA Radiotron and were manufactured by General Electric. The"GE" script logo is acid etched on one side of both tubes. The RCA lightning bolt logo paper label appears on the other side of one of the two. The third tube has somewhat of a"rainbow" effect and is unbranded. From a cosmetic standpoint. Both RCA brass bases have very clear and legible product information. The ink stamped data on these brass bases is more than 85 years ... moreold and is usually faded. Blurred or missing as it disappears when most attempts are made to clean the brass. All three tubes have good flashing and were tested for mutual conductance. Noise, gas and shorts on my calibrated TV-7/U tube tester. A TV-7/U reading of 32(800 micromhos* is considered"new. Data is from a vintage RCA Receiving Tube Manual. 1924 Atwater Kent Model 10 Breadboard Radio w/Brass Base Tipped Tubes
Make sure to check all of my auctions after you look at this one. I'm listing more great antiques and collectibles this week. And I suspect there will be something of interest to just about everybody. Here's a beautiful Atwater Kent Model 10a breadboard receiver. Perhaps the most iconic radio of all time. This battery-powered radio is 90 years old, but as you can see in the photos, it's original throughout, and it's still in great shape. The mahogany board retains its factory finish. And the endcaps are still firmly adhered to the main board. All of the wiring on the underside of the board is original, as are the staples. Both of the original paper tags are still present and still complete, with moderate staining but no significant damage. The original crinkle paint is still intact on the TA and the condensers, and it's ... morein excellent condition. All of hardware brass hardware is original, and none of it is missing. The wiring harness has not been shortened, and it's in good condition, with normal wear, but no significant deterioration. The radio comes with 5 brass base. Tipped tubes. They are for display only(ie, they are not working) At least one of the AF transformers in the TA island is open and will need to be repaired, replaced or bridged if you wish to make the radio operational. If you wish simply to display and enjoy it, the radio needs nothing. That's about it. I will pack everything carefully and properly. And I can assure you that it will show up at your doorstep in the same fine condition in which its leaves mine. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly.

And I suspect there will be something to interest just about everyone. Here's a beautiful matched pair of brass base. Tipped 01A triode tubes. Tubes have rainbow glass envelopes, and they both test strong- 30 and 32 respectively(18 is the nominal minimum for a good tube. I should note that I've successfully used early brass base tipped triodes with scores as low as 12. Scores above 28 are unusually good. And scores of 30 or more are almost unheard of. Tubes are almost identical in height. With beautiful evacuation tips. Nice brass bases, with no cracks or damage. That's about it. I will package it carefully and properly. Up for auction is this vintage ansonia open escapement clock with double pendulum tubes. It is a 4 1/2" dial. It is glass encased on all sides. Has doors that open on front and back. It stands 9 3/4" tall. It is 6 1/4 base and 5 1/4 in depth. weighs about 8 lbs. Clock needs to be cleaned up a bit. It does have a crack in the rear door of glass. Please refer to pics. WWII USS Brass Speaking Tubes voice pipe trumpet lamps marine relic steampunk
Up for bids is an impressive pair of lamps from an old estate. They were made from parts salvaged from an old navy ship according to the seller. They stand about 24" tall to the top of the socket and 36" to the top of the finial. The hinges and latching mechanisms are in good shape. the metal has a great soft patina. The cones have a few small scattered bruises.The mahogany bases measure 8" in diameter. Cords. Plugs, and switches are all in fine shape. Overall fine condition. Great old lamps. Thanks for looking.

You are bidding on this vintage 70‘s era pendant light shade. It has rows of handblown. Rainbow colorful tubular glass beads. You used to see these in hippy abodes, along with incense and tribal decor. Also in beach cottages, with stained glass, seashells and that kind of decor. This one was outdoors, and got an antique patina, courtesy of mother nature. Sort of ancient, international style to it. It is approx. 16“ long, 6“ widest point. You have to put a light in it, it can be an electric light with cord,hard wire, or make it into a swag light. 2 Westinghouse Brass Base Tipped Glass UV-201-A Globe Radio Vacuum Tubes 1 Good
Here is a pair of 1920's UV-brass based 01A's that are from the same manufacturer and the same age. But differing in condition. I tested them with a TV-7/U, and one is dead, the other tests right at the minimum acceptable score. They are both made by Westinghouse, since they both have a big W on the glass, and"W.L.Co" under that. The bad one has the better condition base, with word"RADIOTRON" forming a semi-circle, while the good one's base has no visible writing, and a spot where heavy corrosion was removed which you could polish out if you want. I'm starting this auction low. To give the bargain hunters a chance. And, as usual with old electronics, this pair of tubes is sold as-is, no return, refund, or exchange.
