Vintage Sheridan Silver plated coffee carafe warmer and base with lid
Sheridan Silver plated Glass carafe coffee tea mulled spices pitcher. This does include the base however. The base does have a couple of small splits on each side of the base. Please look at the pictures. The glass carafe is in great condition and no chips or cracks and is clean. This appears to have been polished somewhat. But still a few corners and trim work that could use a little more polishing. Very sturdy and solid- the footed base is in decent condition. A little worn on the bottom but still very usable. The carafe includes a top that has the cut out for pouring. This also has a few splits in it but still stays in securely. Over all a great deal for someone who enjoys entertaining. Great for Hunting Lodge, Rustic Cabin use or everyday at home to remind you of hunting and fishing. I cannot see anything that identifies these as sterling silver. They look plated and prehaps they are polished aluminum. Whatever they are made up the look is great. They have a little patina thing going on and other than a few small dents photographed they are in really great condition. The original fabric base is still in place and I did not remove one to find out if anything is stamped on the bottom. Glass covers the printed artwork bottom. The beaded look top and bottom adds to the overall appeal of these coasters. Fred Sweney was born June 5, 1912. Victorian Pickle with Lead Crystal insert and base plated NICE NR
Nice old victorian pickle castor. Clear glass is thick and has a very sparkly look to it. And does ring when tapped with finger, so its probably lead crystal. No chips or cracks or flea bites, only manufacturing flaw, such as air bubble as seen in pic# 9. The base is not marked anywhere i could see. It appears to be plated and could use polishing. I actually prefer the patina look myself. The top see pic#5 looks like there was a top part that has broken off. I never even noticed that until I was taking pictures of it. I don't even remember how I got this one. I may have been my grandmothers. I then collected them, but I have since been selling off some of my collectibles to make room for my fairy lamp collection. This has been sitting in my china hutch for probably 20 years. Very low starting price and no reserve!
