Antique Key Wound Wood Shelf/Mantel Clock 19" Tall
Nicely carved antique clock- no makers mark- has key. When wound up part way it ran and struck each hour. Then it stopped but when it was moved started up again. So I would say it works when it is so inclined- about 75- 80% of the time. It may do better or worse after a trip by US mail but I will pack carefully. The clock is 19" tall X 10 1/2" at the base X 4' deep. It has a nice paper dial in good condition. The pendulum is somewhat age worn and the bell that is struck on the hour has a little rust beginning. This is a nice looking clock! Shipping is $17.25.

Up for auction is a 1990's Black Plastic Wittner Key Wound Metronome that is very close to the look of wood. Even though it is made of plastic. This item is in excellent condition since, sadly, the child did not turn out to be much of a musician-honestly, it was hardly ever used. The cover is easy to remove. the range is 40 to 208 beats per minute& the tempo is changed by sliding the metronome weight up and down the stem of the metronome. The dimensions are: 8.5"h x 4.5"w x 4.5"d. Good volume with a natural tone& great accuracy. Wittner metronomes currently retail for $71.50. Made in Germany.

Similar to the Iron Crosses of 1813, 1870, and 1914, which could be worn by World War II Iron Cross recipients. Hunter Cyclo-Cross Frame and Wound-Up Fork 61cm
I decided to just part this thing out and sell only frame and fork. Frame was hecho en Bonny Doon. CA during the 10/11 cx season by a certain Rick Hunter. It's got a 70mm bb drop and 61cm seat tube, 59cm top tube, 195mm head tube. Of note are the Black Cat dropouts, which pivot, thus allowing you to adjust chain tension for single speeding, or disc brake adjustmenting. They are spaced slightly less than 135mm. I ran a 130 road wheel no problem. And there's a wound up cx fork! It's black and handles awesome. No chatter when I ran the Pauls on there. Never did ride it much at all, great deal on a very nice bike. I had the complete bike up on ebay for a few weeks, and had lots of interest. fwiw.

BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE "JUNGHANS" SPRING WOUND CUCKOO CLOCK
BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE"JUNGHANS" SPRING WOUND CUCKOO CLOCK ANTIQUE"JUNGHANS" SPRING WOUND CUCKOO CLOCK You are bidding on a wonderful antique spring wound"JUNGHANS" cuckoo clock. I believe this is classified as a 30 hour cuckoo even though it will run for better than 3 days. The clock is really in amazing shape for it's age though it will need some attention. The clock measures 16" tall with the crown on. 13" wide, and 8 1/2" deep. It has an oak color to it but I believe it is made from Linden wood. The case is in excellent condition with no breaks or previous repairs except for one leaf tip on the right leaf that is missing. The crown is fantastic with great detail. The dial is 5 1/2" in diameter and is made of zinc and covered with the original paper. As you can see, the paper has split in ... moretwo places and small pieces are missing. The bone hands are original but have been broken and reglued. The original cuckoo bird still looks good and works. Both flute tubes I believe are original but one has had a newer top put on. The pendulum is one of the largest I have seen on a cuckoo. It does have a split down the top of the stick and might need to be glued. The movement was really dirty when I bought it and I don't believe it had ever been disassembled. I completely overhauled the movement, ultrasonically cleaned it, and lubricated it and it runs very well. No bushings were needed. The only thing I noticed was that another suspension spring had been put on that is a little to long and might need to be shortened a bit. The back of the movement has Junghans logo on it with A10 underneath it. The number 118 is also stamped at the upper left of the movement. The time side of the movment runs strong but the strike side seems to labor as the"cuckoo" sequence is slow. The fan can be adjusted and spins smoothly. These old spring wound cuckoos are really getting hard to find and with a little attention, this one can be a real show piece. This clock will be shipped b

+uHey Folks. Old General Forrest has this Rare original Civil War CDV of Colonel Hiram L. Brown 145th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry with previous service in the 83rd Pennsylvania Infantry. According to the information on his biography page in the Generals section of the Civil War Research and Database, General Hiram L. Brown was wounded in the Wheatfield at Gettysburg July 2nd,1863 in his right arm by a rifle ball and lost his sword when wounded. He was also wounded at Fredericksburg, and Gaines Mill and taken POW at Savage Station and Spottsylvania. The document shows that Ueno Taichi(born Meiji 12[1879] received a battle injury war wound badge for an injury received in the 1904-5 Russia War. He got the wound in the area of Jinzhou District. Near Dalian(around the area once known as Port Arthur) Dated Showa 17[1942] April 18. I guess the award was a retroactive one-perhaps he was overlooked for some reason. It has an ornate brass birdcage, with round globe clock inside center.The base and trim are chrome.there is a tiny orange and yellow bird standing on floor of cage.it swivels back and forth constantly, when wound. It makes a tiny clicky noice, but no chirps. This is a daily clock, it must be wound every day.very high maintenence.but what a delightful little pet! It measures 8 1/2" tall, when hanging on it's base. The bird cage itself, measures 4 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide. It has a 8" circumference. I had my jeweler go over it, and it works perfectly. AMERICAN WALTHAM 17 JEWEL GOLD FILLED POCKET WATCH.10076383. I didn't expect it to. But this watch started running when I wound it.but I doubt its accuracy or how long it might run. The movement dates from 1900 and measures 1 5/8" diameter in a 2 1/8" case. Case is well worn. With the brass showing thru in some places. Dial is white porcelain with large, black Roman numbers and red Arabic minutes along the outer edge. Dial has hairline cracks running from the mid 2 position down to the seconds dial and again near the 7. Case closes smooth and strong and has a lovely scrollwork and shield engraving that repeats on both front and back covers. A nice. Heavy timepiece.

This is a key wound clock movement unlike the less expensive modern battery operated movements. Case and metal clock dial black serpentine hands are in good condition only a few very miner dings on the case. Dial has a very distinctive piano key logo on it. Movement is marked Baldwin- is in good condition and keeps good time. It features an adjustment screw for speeding up or slowing down the movement. On the hour. It strikes out the lovely Westminster melody and the hours on five tuned chime rods, on the hour. It strikes out a partial melody. Progressively on the quarter-hours following the traditional Westminster melody sequence. It features a chime silencer switch on the dial so you can silence the chime. Its size is approx. 19 ¾ inch x 4 ¾ inch x 9 inches. It has all original parts. Including the movement- windup key and original ... moreBaldwin label serial# 18729. Baldwin Piano and Organ Company clocks are very rare. So rare. It is hard to find anything about their clock manufacturing on the web. Throughout the 1970’s, the Baldwin Piano and Organ Company undertook a project to diversify into other areas including clock manufacturing. Baldwin manufactured extremely fine“piano finish cases” and used very reliable German made Hermle movements. The clocks were well received because of Baldwin's brand name recognition and reputation for quality. Hermle movements are extremely fine German movements. It is a“floating balance movement” which frees you from having to level the case to balance the movement unlike pendulum movements. Because of its rarity it is hard to evaluate the value of this clock. The case work is very fine. So the best way to evaluate what a Baldwin clock is worth.
