Vintage 6 Ft. ANATOMICAL Medical WALL CHART, Map - Human Body, Anatomy Display
You are bidding on a wonderful vintage roll down style anatomical map or wall chart featuring the human body from the rear view. This medical chart or display is quite old and printed on heavy linen. As the photos show. The front has the body with lines next to each part of the body for study by students(and others) The chart measure 6'4" tall and I have included a photo of the map next to my door so you can get a sense of how large it is. The map has some age to it and I would guess 1930's. With that comes some discoloration(especially on the very bottom) and at some time, the labels that were placed on the map were removed on four lines. Still, it makes an incredible display that would great in any medical office or in the home of any physician or medical professional. Very, very unique. The map doesn't roll up automatically(like ... moreyou would find on a geographical map in a school that snaps back up inside at the top) but the linen is sturdy enough to roll it up easily and ship/store. There are no tears or rips that go through the linen but there are spots that are visible from the front where the chart has cracklature. A great gift for the upcoming holidays as well. I use the US Postal Service and prefer priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven. MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book(then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox. Beautiful vintage eye anatomical model. I'm no expert but it looks hand-painted to me. I would take a wild guess that this is from the 1950-1970s. Unknown maker. Hard to read imprint"SIMA" perhaps. Overall good condition though there is some wear and discoloration, remnants of stickers, scribbles and whatnot. There was probably a glass/plastic lens at some point, but that is missing. The eye is sitting on a base, though I'm not sure if it is the original. Measures about 10 inches height, 7 inches diameter.

For Sale AWESOME 1916 Vintage Pull Down Anatomical Chart I used to have a whole bunch of these. This was the only one I kept. I just thought it was GREAT In overall very good shape. No tears. Some folds. A small part is pulled from the rod at the bottom. Should be easy to push back in a glue. Colors are AWESOME Made in 1916 in Chicago. The pull down mechanism no longer works so this does not roll up. Not a biggie. Kinda bummed to let this go but have noplace to hang it anymore. So you get to enjoy it! Vintage mid century human heart anatomical model lucite Medical Plastics Lab
This model stands 9" tall. Excellent vintage condition. Opens and closes as it should. Hinges and attachments are solid with no chips cracks or repairs. Hello. For sale is a vintage drug company advertising display piece. This is for the drugs Diuril and Aldomet. Made by the Merck Drug company in 1959. Which is written on the heart. Very rare. This is an anatomical model of the human heart. The heart is made of plastic and rests on a plastic stand. The pieces are in nice condition. It appears that a small plastic piece may be missing. Otherwise. This is a nice piece of medical advertising history. The heart separates to see into the human heart model. The heart is about 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Vintage 1961 SOMSO Germany 11½" Anatomical Cardio 2 Piece Human Heart Model
Here's a very nice vintage 2 piece heart model by Somso of Germany. The model is attached to a post and shows the structures of the heart. Both inside and out. Including the stand. The model measures about 11½ inches tall. The heart itself is about 7 inches long and 4 inches wide. The piece weighs more than 1¼ pounds before packaging. There is a maker's label on the base. The bottom has a date stamp that says"26 März 1961. The model is in very nice condition. Though there is some loose tape on the inside at the tricuspid valve. It can probably be reattached quite easily, but I'll leave that to the discretion of the buyer. Also, there is a small amount of paint loss at the edges of the base.
