Made of heavy-duty metal. This attachment has a power transfer gearbox with two good gears. The gearbox is 4 inches wide and the total height of the grinding attachment to 6 1/2" The post that would insert into the actual grinding power source is 1" in diameter and it extends 3/4" from the head. The oval opening at the top in which he would put the meat or other product to be ground measures 2 5/8" by 3 3/8" This is a Westinghouse item as the Westinghouse logo is cast onto the side of it. Hobart 401 Steakmaster Meat Tenderizer Cuber Cube steak maker
This classic Hobart meat tenderizer/ cube steak machine has been collecting dust in the basement for a long time. However I just gave it a cursory clean up and plugged it in and it still works like a charm! I just ran the piece of cardboard seen in the second picture through it and it came through looking just like the cube steaks we used to make with it back in the day. It will need a more serious cleaning and probably some oiling up. But should be ready to go otherwise. There is a crack in the plastic safety cover but I'm sure you can super-glue that.
