They don't make'em like this anymore. Made of cast iron. I did a short video showing the operation Includes three cutters: coarse. Medium and fine. Also includes the original instructions. Here's some of the text: Use the Coarse Cutter for chopping all kinds of vegetables. Fresh or dried fruits, salt pork, suet, cooked meat, and all other articles which one desires chopped into rather large pieces. Use the Medium Cutter for chopping all kinds of cooked meat. Vegetables, and all other articles of food which are desired rather fine or medium. For cutting meat see that the thumb nut is screwed pretty tight. Use the Fine Cutter for pulverizing ... moredry bread. Almonds, Spanish nuts, mint, and also meat or vegetables if these are desired very fine. A bit of dry bread passed through the chopper the last thing cleans the machine. After which it can be washed with hot water. Up for auction is a vintage either 1884 or 1864. It's really hard for me to be exact but it looks more like 1884. It has all the original parts and is marked"ELK CITY No. 32 PAT'D JULY 5 1884. The latch that closes the grinder works very hard- I think it needs a good cleaning. It is 8 1/2" long and 6" tall not including the handle. You are looking at an Vintage/Antique Marked Rollman Food Chopper#63 and Parts in good pre-owned condition. The bottom screw area does show some rust but it moves freely and secure. I did not try to remove the rust. The inside area is very clean and rust free. At the side where the handle is attached it measures 8" EXCLUDING the screw part area. The top feed area measures 2 3/4 x 3 1/4" It is quite heavy weighing close to 3lbs. I will be mailing parcel post. This item comes from a smoke free home. Please email me with any questions.
