On the front is a lady on a ladder among some beautiful vine plants, but when you turn it over you realize her dress has hung up on a rung on the ladder exposing her bottom with all it's glory. The ashtray weighs an amazing 1# 6 oz. and is bronze in color so it very well may be bronze. But I am no expert in metals, and would say cast iron is another possibility. I offer for auction a vintage green step stool. It is in vintage condition with a crack on the top. It is stabilized beneath the top. There are cracks on both back legs. It doesn't fold completely flat. It is weathered with worn paint and paint loss. It is strong enough for heavy flower pots. Books and deco but is not suitable for climbing. It is approximately 23 1/2" tall. The top step is 14 1/2" wide and 7 3/4" deep. The legs are 14" wide at bottom front. Antique 3-Step Stool Primitive Pine Wood Stepstool Ladder Stand Worn White Paint
Very cool vintage 3 step stool. The pine piece was painted white at one time and is a little chippy. With a few drips. It has a little wood showing through is spots but the look is consistent throughout. All parts look to be original with the only non wood portions being the two side support used to fold the stool down, and the two metal supports on both side of the top step. The stool is a little rickety, but expected for its age and not bad. The two back supports are doweled in and the two lower steps are mortised into the sides and screwed. Each of the two lower steps have 5 grove lines each for better gripping. The stool functions properly and folds nicely away.
