Set of 4 Vintage Industrial Primitive Steel Roll-E-Z Casters
Set of 4 Vintage Industrial Primitive Steel Roll-E-Z Casters The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. There’s something for everyone! Here is a matching set of 4. Roll-E-Z casters for you! Made of steel, they have a brass colored patina that is quite worn- mostly worn on the sides of the casters, and seen more on the round top over the wheels than anywhere. Each caster measures 4" tall top to bottom of wheel, with a 1 1/2" diameter wheel and the round piece over the wheel is 1 1/4" diameter. Each caster weighs 7 ounces. There is a"cage" ... morefor lack of a better word, of 4 bars that go into that round piece- with another smaller round piece where they meet at the top. I do not know how these mount, as there's no mounting holes that I can find- unless that cage fits into the legs of your piece? They are in excellent solid sturdy and working condition. The patina is dark, with the finish wear noted above, and spots of surface rust all around- some casters have it more than others but it's surface only. All of the wheels have surface rust that is so dark and old- it's just part of the patina. One side of the wheel frames are marked"Patented. They are barn fresh dirty and could use a good cleaning- I have not cleaned them in any way. A little clean up, and they are ready to go to work for you! Please ask if you have any questions. Hi there! You are looking at vintage steel typewriter table on swivel wooden casters. In dark green. This measures 18"wide x 14" deep x 26" high. It has a pullout shelf on the right side that measures 11" wide x 11-1/2" deep when pulled out. Some of the screws are not original. A few were missing when I purchased this table, so I went ahead and replaced them. Table is sturdy and in good, usable condition. May seem wobbly on a hard surface floor as the right front leg is slightly short. There is some minor surface rust in spots. Also, some dents and scratches, paint drips and splatters. Antique Machine Age Industrial Chair Stool Steel Do-More Casters Adjustable UHL
Here we have a great Machine Age industrial chair. This chair is made of steel and I have seen people listing them as UHL Toledo and also as Do-More stools. I have not seen any markings on this chair to indicate either of them as being the brand. The casters are Bassick casters and as you can see from the photos there is some wear and chipping to the wheels. Photo 10 shows the worst of the chipping to one of the wheels. As you can see from the photos this chair has been repainted and maybe recovered but it was obviously done awhile ago. The back rest of the chair is about 31 inches tall and the back rest is about 15 inches wide. The seat is about 17 1/2 inches tall and is 12 1/2 inches by 16 inches. The back rest of the chair is adjustable as you can see. The seat of the chair looks like it may adjust but I wasn't able to figure out how ... moreit does so. Set of Six Matching 2¼" BASSICK Ball Casters, Brass Wheels w. Steel Swivel Bases
This lot contains six matching heavy duty swivel wheel casters. All marked"Bassick USA" on the stem. The bases- four mounting screw holes to each one- are made of steel and the ball wheels appear to be made of brass. To make it easier to steer and navigate, they have a two-way swivel action- one half of the wheel swivels inside the other, while the whole wheel swivels against the base. Because they are made in two halves, the wheels don't form a perfect circle, but the diameter, depending on where you measure it, falls within the range of 2" and 2½" The bases are about 1½" x 1½" They all appear to be in generally good and functional condition. But they are dusty, and some of the brass surfaces have signs of serious oxydization. I don't know how old they are, but they look kind of sixties ... moreor seventies retro, don't they?
