The hoist is about 8" x 7-1/2" x 6" not including the hooks or the 16" long handle. The chain is about 6 feet and a few inches long. Up for bid is a Coffing MA-30 1 1/2 ton lever hoist. It has approximately 6 ft. of lift and functions as it should. There are scratches and the up/down selector lever handle is broken(see photo) Does not effect operation as you can still move it back and forth with your thumb. From what I was told by the previous owner whose dad brought it home after his service in WWII, this is determined to be an original WWII US issue Coffing Hoist Company 3 ton chain hoist/ come-along with original spare parts kit, blueprints/ papers, wooden crate with metal reinforced sides and latches, extra chains, hooks, handle, and disconnector rod. It also has two green pieces that from what I understand, we're used to remove and reinstall tracks on tanks and tracked vehicles during WWII. The crate is in great condition for its age and even still has the original paper tag, stating the original contents of the case what it was issued, stapled to one end.
