The base is a piece of wood and the animals and wagon don't come off(glued) However, the man and women are removable. Each have a peg of wood that goes into a hole for their spot. Now the stick the woman is holding has a repair in one spot so that is the only thing I see wrong. Both sticks slide out of their hands(man and woman) and can be removed. Vintage Italian(Sicilian) Donkey Wooden Cart 3 Figurines Hand Painted A very nice collectible for those who are proud of their Sicilian heritage. 10 inches long(from back of cart to tip of horses nose 3 inches wide(across back of cart) 5.5 inches tall in back(bottom of wheel to top of persons head) 6 inches tall in front(hoof to top of horses head) Made in Italy Gidi's( in Palermo) is printed on the side of the cardboard base. The cardboard shows some wear but has nothing to do with the condition of the actual piece. The horse. Cart and figurines are in perfect condition. Cart is wood and hand painted. People are hand painted. All feathers and decorations on the horse are in perfect condition. Very Clean. I was going to remove the Cart from the cardboard base but I will leave that up to the winner. There is an abundance of beautiful detail ~ loaded with carvings also.there is a head carved into each spindle and also in all spoke centers. Hand Carved Wood Water Buffalo Pulling Cart, Signed 14 1/2" x 8" x 5"
This auction is for a hand carved. Solid natural wood, water buffalo pulling a cart with a oriental figure riding on its back. The carving itself is very competently executed with elegant detail and it is signed Serrano& Gazum. The figured measure 14 1/2" long, it stands 8" high and is 5" wide at the base of the platform that it rides on. This wood carving has great detail and a natural medium wood patina. From the individually carved yoke. To the cart wheels and the floor of the cart, which is woven bamboo, it shows exceptionally. There are 4 small diameter holes in the 4 corners of the cart which appear to have held a top which is no longer present and there is a very small hole in the hand of the rider which I presume held a whip which is no longer present. Other than those two items this figure is in excellent condition.

THIS IS A HANDMADE. WOODENWARE PULLING CART. THE WHEELS ACTUALLY TURN. IT HAS DECORATIVE METAL BRADS AND HAS RED ACCENT PAINT ON IT. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. PULLING CART IS 10 1/2" LONG, 4 1/2" TALL AND THE INSIDE OF THE CART IS 2 1/2" DEEP. THERE IS SOME WRITING ON THE BOTTOM OF CART.

VINTAGE JAPANESE JAPAN LACQUER WARE HAND CART WAGON PLASTIC TOY SAKI HOLDER
Up for your consideration we have a vintage piece of lacquer ware from Japan. This little hand cart once held a bottle of saki. It is about 7" tall and 17" long. It is in good condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. It is a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. It has some surface scratching but no major damage. It has some color loss on the red accented areas such as the wheels. We have recently purchase d a major estate of a serious collector of all things unique. Vintage and antique. This collection has been compiled over the course of the past sixty years and has so much to offer. Up for bids is a hand-painted rabbit cart from occupied Japan. Hand-painted and I believe it is signed.looks like pico or something like that.its hard to read. As I said in my discription. It has a hair line crack that you can see on my picture#4. The cart is about 4 3/4" long and 1 3/4" tall. Everything looks great except for that tiny crack. If your bidding.Good Luck!
