Hutchinson 6" grain auger - hydraulic drive
Up for Auction is a 33 foot Hutchinson grain auger on wheels. Features: hydraulic driven motor. Hitch, metal shroud for fill end. It shows some wear, but works good. It is well balanced and can be easily moved by one person. We no longer need this auger because we don't use the granary anymore. We used to use one for loading and unloading the granary. Our other one was used for putting treatment on seed. This one just keeps getting moved around, so someone might as well have it that can use it. They work very well for mixing seed treatment. Here is a Feterl 8"x50' auger it is a good working auger we have used this auger for the last 10 years and it has always worked just fine. It looks ugly but there are no holes in the tube no leaks you just put grain in the bottom and it will come out the top it is just that simple. It runs off of 540 rpm pto. It does not come with a hopper. It is manual cable lift. I can dissasamble this auger for transport if you would like to haul it. The original axle was bad when we got this auger so it has had a mobile home axle on it since then and it works just as good as the old one. Functional Grain Silo with Auger used for Malted Barley at Brew House
Only the grain silo is for sale. The structural support beams are not part of the auction. This is an incredible grain silo that would make an incredible store front for a brewing company. The logo of your company can be painted on the outside of the silo for all to see. Not only is it great for marketing but it is also functional. The grain truck can pull up and load the silo with malted barley. Then the auger assembly under the silo can move the grain to your brewing tanks. The long stainless steel auger is still inside of the PVC tubing and is probably about 100 feet long. You are welcome to include the stainless steel auger in this bid if you are willing to come out and remove it from the tubing. We spent close to $5.000 craning the silo from its location over the top of the building to remove it. All you need to do is buy the silo and ... moreeither pick it up or have it shipped to your location. According to the crane operator. The silo weighs 3,200 pounds. It is approximately 25 feet tall and about 8 feet in diameter. With the auger tubing, you should expect about 10 feet in diameter. The actual weight is 3200 pounds according to the crane operator that removed it from the building.

This auger is 15 feet 9 inches in length.Not for sure what brand it is.Its been hanging in my barn for years and always stored inside.Plugged it in and ran it for about 10 minutes and seem to run fine.Tag is faded on the motor and can't tell what hp it is.It is in very good condition for its age.Local pickup only.
